From American Idol to iCarly.
David Archuleta is set to make his actint debut on the Nickelodeon sitcom, as the season seven runner-up will portray himself in an episode that will air in the spring.
The show itself focuses on a high school student, played by Miranda Cosgrove, who runs a video blog with her friends. This is where Archuleta will come in.
In the episode titled “iRocked the Vote,” Archuleta apears on a show called America Sings. He enjoys an increase in votes after winning support in an iCarly webcast.
The guest-starring stint is part of the singer’s promotional plans for his debut album, which comes out on November 11.
