But while Ryan Phillippe and Abbie Cornish are far from beloved in Hollywood – that’s what happens when you cheat on Reese Witherspoon, Ryan – they have at least one supporter.
“They’re great,” Rob Brown, Phillippe’s friend and castmate in last spring’s Stop-Loss, told People Magazine. “I was with them last night. They’re good people.”
Despite the fact that his cheating supposedly caused it, Phillippe has referred to his divorce from Witherspoon as “the darkest, saddest place I had ever been.” But Brown added that his pal has moved on.
“He’s alright,” Brown said. “He’s in good spirits and he seems happy. And I’m happy for him.”
