Elisabeth Hasselbeck plans to go on maternity leave next month, a spokesman for The View announced.
The conservative blonde announced her pregnancy in April and intends to work right up to her due date. This is one dedicated mother, something many critics don’t say about Asia Nitollano.
Hasselbeck plans to leave on November 8 or 9, ABC spokesman Karl Nilsson confirmed. Celebrity guest hosts will fill in for her.
“I figured that we’re going to be lonely without [former co-host Rosie O’Donnell],” Hasselbeck joked at the time of the announcement, People magazine reported. “So, (husband) Tim and I thought we should get busy and maybe make a little co-host.”
The couple also have a 2-year-old daughter, Grace.
