Get excited, High School Musical fans:

The Disney Channel is airing a special dance-along version of the sequel on Sept. 8. The hosts will include the modern day Brangelina, Zanessa (Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens.)

Efron, Hudgens and company — Ashley Tisdale, Lucas Grabeel, Corbin Bleu, Monique Coleman, Olesya Rulin, KayCee Stroh, Chris Warren, Jr. and Ryne Sanborn — will do more than merely host the movie: they’ll instruct viewers on how to imitate their dances during the opening and closing numbers.

It’s the airing of a lifetime.

“Our viewers made dance moves from the first movie iconic, and we’re pleased to once again provide them with an opportunity to learn the new dance moves from HSM2,” Disney Channel Worldwide senior VP Scott Garner said in a statement.

We can only imagine how excited Jodie Sweetin, the former host of Pants Off/Dance Off, is about this news.
