Wow. There’s American Idol news that does NOT concern Taylor Hicks or Katharine McPhee.
No offense to those talented crooners, but The Gossip was curious about various past finalists. We’ve now received news that Constantine Maroulis is working on his debut CD, one he compares to artists such as Bon Jovi, Rob Thomas and even a bit of Ricky Martin.
Also in the studio is fellow fourth season finalist, Anthony Federov (aka “A-Fed). He says his first album will be “ballad-heavy, very powerful and strong.” We can’t wait.
Finally, let’s hear it for Jon Peter Lewis! He’s working with a drummer that’s spent time with Vertical Horizon and Josh Grobin, while his debut single, “If I Go Away” has just been released.
