Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis: It's NOT Over!
Don't put Vanessa Paradis and Johnny Depp in our celebrity breakups category just yet.
The former has finally addressed the ongoing rumors of their split, and issued a fairly strong denial of reports that they've gone their separate ways after 14 years.
Making the publicity rounds for her new movie, Café de Flore, Paradis offered a clear statement to French program Grand Journal after earlier vague responses.
"Yes it's false! Of course it's false!" the 39-year-old singer-actress said when pressed about herself and Depp, 48. "Such rumors can truly harm my family."
"We separate in winter and we get married again in summer. I'm at this point at my 12th pregnancy," she said, referencing endless gossip about the pair.
According to Paradis, what she really takes issue with is when reporters write hurtful things that end up affecting 11-year-old Lily and 9-year-old Jack.
"These rumors are the content of those magazines that end up in the fireplace or in the toilets and that's about it," Vanessa Paradis said pointedly.
The Rango star has yet to comment either way on the rumors, of course.

Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis: Is It Over?
Are Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, his partner of 14 years now, a thing of the past or headed in that direction fast? Such rumors have been swirling this week.
The pair has not made a public appearance together for more than a year, and the Dark Shadows star's solo trip to the Golden Globes fueled the split rumors.
People reports that America's favorite actor and the French singer-actress have called it quits, having led "separate lives" for some time now.
The couple has long maintained separate homes, in West Hollywood and France.
A source allegedly close to Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis said the following:
"They bet that they could move to California for long stays for his career. They bet that things could continue there as they had in the south of France."
"They lost that bet. Vanessa has gone seven years between albums and several years between film projects while he became Jack Sparrow," the source said.
Vanessa Paradis Loves Johnny Depp, Not Marriage
Most women might not know who Vanessa Paradis is, but they likely hate her anyway.
The French singer/actress has been dating Johnny Depp for over 10 years. Still, as she tells the U.K. edition of Elle in its November issue, don't mention marriage to either half of this couple.
"Each summer people say we're supposed to be getting married, but we don't talk about it that much," Paradis said. "He's got me, and he knows he's got me."
Paradis added:
"I love the romance of 'let's get married,' but then, when you have it so perfect ... I mean, I'm more married than anybody can be – we have two kids [Jack, 6, and Lily Rose, 9]. Maybe one day, but it's something I can really do without."
Paradis also responded to accusations that she "tamed" the Pirates of the Caribbean star. Depp had previously dated party gals such as Kate Moss and Winona Ryder.
"Tamed. What's that? Like a lion? Noooo, no, we did it to each other. Maybe I'm a good girlfriend because I'm his girlfriend. I'm not sure I'd be a good girlfriend to anyone else; the same for him. It's difficult to explain, but it's something that's natural, obvious and beautiful.
