Kobe and Vanessa Bryant to Reconcile?
Is a reconciliation between Los Angeles Lakers all-star Kobe Bryant and his estranged wife Vanessa Bryant imminent? Recent photos sure suggest it's far from unlikely.
For the second time in two months, Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, who filed for divorce in December, were photographed together with their two daughters.
On Sunday, Kobe stuck around Staples Center to watch Game 3 of the Kings-Canucks NHL playoff series. He and his family sat a few rows above the glass:
Kobe and Vanessa Bryant, who have been rumored to be getting back together ever since they split, sat apart from each other with their girls in between.
In February, Vanessa attended the Lakers-Hawks game on Valentine’s Day and the two were pictured kissing in a tunnel. That will start rumors, for sure.
Kobe has reportedly promised not to cheat again and begged for another chance, but it doesn't appear he's officially gotten it from Vanessa ... yet.
In any case, though, they clearly get along much better than most couples in the middle of a divorce. If nothing else, that's good for their kids' sake.

Kobe Bryant to Vanessa Bryant: I Won't Cheat on You Ever Again, I Swear!!
Kobe Bryant is going all out to save his marriage.
The L.A. Lakers star has reportedly sworn up and down to wife Vanessa Bryant that he will never, ever stray again if she calls off their divorce and takes him back.
Kobe has "aggressively pursued" Vanessa over the last 2-3 weeks, and she's been pretty receptive ... but she still isn't sure the marriage can be resurrected.
When we say aggressively, we don't just mean promises of faithfulness. We mean gifts. He's reportedly given Vanessa a VERY expensive piece of jewelry.
Kobe famously gave Vanessa a $4 million "adultery ring" after she stood by him during his infamous affair / rape trial in 2003 (Bryant was acquitted of all charges).
As for whether they will drop the divorce - the terms of which are finalized but which does not become official for months - they are working on a reconciliation.
Sources very familiar with the couple say they both love each other and not to rule out the possibility that the marriage will be saved, despite Kobe's cheating.
On the flip side, Vanessa Bryant and the couple's two kids were in New York City over the weekend, looking for a big apartment ... not exactly a good sign.
Vanessa, now worth at least $75 million, won't say if she's packing up and moving from California for good, but she definitely wants to buy a place in NYC.
Kobe reportedly knows she's shopping in the Big Apple, and isn't happy about it. Could she be planning on skipping town for good? Using this as leverage?

Kobe and Vanessa Bryant: Getting Back Together?!
Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa Bryant just split, but are already working on a reconciliation, according to reports... and photos of them kissing (on TMZ).
Vanessa showed up for the Lakers' win over the Atlanta Hawks last night, and the couple shared a kiss in the tunnel on the way into the locker room.
Love was apparently in the air for the ex-spouses on Valentine's Day!
Vanessa filed for divorce in December, and they already sealed a property settlement deal in which she got all three of their homes and $75 million.
The pair married over a decade ago and have two little girls (above).
However, Kobe has been trying to win her back ever since the split, and the divorce is not final, so there's more than a glimmer of hope for the pair.
While Kobe and Vanessa Bryant submitted all the necessary papers to divorce, it doesn't become finalized until mid-June - six months under California law.
There's plenty of time to withdraw the papers, and it looks like things are trending that way, though Kobe and Vanessa are NOT living together ... yet.

Vanessa Bryant and Lisa Gastineau Rumored for The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
Camille Grammer out? Vanessa Bryant and Lisa Gastineau in?
With rumors of one cast member not being invited back for season three of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, we can now report on the rumors going around of who might replace her; namely, a pair of real former athlete wives.
According to The Huffington Post, producers are wooing Bryant, who recently split from some shooting guard on the Los Angeles Lakers; and Lisa, who divorced NFL linebacker Mark Gastineau in 1991 and starred alongside her daughter on E!'s Gastineau Girls a few years ago.
Said one insider of Bryant: "She is now single and free and doesn't ever have to worry about earning another dollar in her life, so she can focus on what makes the show so much fun: herself," while the same sources added of Lisa:
"She is the example of how not to get divorces. She has a wonderful life but works very hard to pay her bills and would love to find love again."
Bravo may need to compete with another cable network for Vanessa's services, however: VH1 is courting her for Basketball Wives.
Vanessa Bryant: Courted By Basketball Wives!
It was only a matter of time.
Mere weeks after Vanessa Bryant became one of the NBA's most famous ex-wives, she has become the Holy Grail for producers of VH1's misnamed Basketball Wives.
The people behind the show are prepping to make Kobe's ex-wife an offer she can't refuse, with sources say "an extremely lucrative pitch for Vanessa" is imminent.
As one source put it, they will do whatever it takes to get her, since, “Vanessa has more than enough storyline and would bring the show to another level.”
Producers never dreamed of approaching Vanessa Bryant while she was married to the L.A. Lakers superstar, who she recently left due to Kobe's repeated cheating.
Budget constraints were also an issue when the show was in its infancy, but with Wives pulling in big ratings for VH1, and Vanessa single, times have changed!
Sources say producers would instantly make her the LEAD star the show or spin off an L.A. version with her as the centerpiece. We're not buying it, though.
First of all, Vanessa scored $75 million in their divorce. VH1 isn't going to woo her with money, in other words, and it's unclear if she wants to be a fame whore.
Even if she does, we doubt Kobe will agree to have his daughters on the program, which could be a tough workaround as Vanessa will have primary custody.

Vanessa Bryant Scores $75 Million From Kobe
Kobe Bryant's wife Vanessa is about to be a very rich woman.
Sources connected to the couple say the couple's property settlement agreement, which they worked out before even going public with their divorce, is final.
Vanessa Bryant is walking away with $75 million, which represents close to half of their total assets, estimated at around $150 million. Not a bad payday.
Several transfers of property earlier this year between Kobe and Vanessa. The female Bryant now owns all three of the former couple's Newport Beach mansions.
Vanessa gets the estate she lives in, the estate her mom is living in, and the new one that had been under construction for two years and was just completed.
Kobe, whose cheating led to their divorce, is getting a new bachelor pad instead. We have a hunch he'll do alright there, financially and otherwise.
Vanessa is asking for joint custody of their two daughters, Natalia, 8, and Gianna, 5, but is asking that the LA Lakers superstar get visitation rights.

Kobe Bryant: Desperate to Reconcile With Vanessa?
L.A. Lakers star Kobe Bryant is desperate to reconcile with estranged wife Vanessa Bryant, sources say. Whether she gives him the time of day or not is another story.
Vanessa filed for divorce from Kobe last weekend, but people close to the family say his two daughters, ages 8 and 5, are playing a major role in his bid to reconcile.
Kobe is said to be "deeply depressed" over the situation and is very concerned about how his little girls will handle growing up in two separate households.
Sounds nice and all, but Vanessa Bryant decided to pull the plug on the union after catching the NBA star in an extramarital affair, and it wasn't the first time.
Some have accused Vanessa of being a gold-digger, but they were married for 10 years - before Kobe was obscenely rich - and she stood by him in 2003.
That was when he was accused of raping a girl he cheated with. They toughed it out through that, but his current affair was apparently the last straw.
Bryant's family was unaware of Kobe's efforts but they hope he and Vanessa can find a way to get along in the future if only for the sake of the kids.
Vanessa Bryant: Gold Digger or You Go, Girl?
Gold diggers: Like mother, like daughter. That's what Vanessa Bryant's former stepfather is saying about the soon-to-be ex-wife of NBA superstar Kobe Bryant.
Stephen Laine said in the aftermath of Kobe Bryant's divorce announcement that Vanessa, his spouse of 10 years, is acting just like her money-grubbing mom.
"Her mother taught her well to wait for the ten-year mark [before divorcing]," he said. "In California ... it's considered a long term marriage and then she gets paid for life or until [Vanessa] remarries ... just like her mother is doing to me."
Is that really fair, though?
First off, Kobe was reportedly caught cheating after the wives of some of his teammates told Vanessa Bryant of the player's increasingly frequent infidelities.
Second, 10 years is a long ass time, and two kids are a lot of work. Yes, having kids to "trap" the dad is a baby mama staple, but this doesn't seem like that.
They married young, before Kobe was that rich (she stands to receive at least $75 million now), and despite whatever rep she has, she never seeks attention.
Finally, she stood by Kobe after he was accused of RAPING someone. Enduring public humiliation isn't part of the gold-digging handbook ... $4 million ring or not.
What do you think? Is Vanessa Bryant a gold digger?

Vanessa Bryant to Receive at Least $75 Million in Divorce From Kobe
Vanessa Bryant is positioned to make out like a bandit in her divorce from Kobe Bryant, in large part due to the couple's apparent lack of a prenuptial agreement.
Coupled with 10 years of marriage, her settlement should be upwards of $75 million - half the L.A. Lakers guard's fortune - along with support for their daughters.
Vanessa Bryant's mom told the Los Angeles Times that the couple did not sign a prenuptial agreement when they wed - entitling Vanessa to half of their assets.
Estimates put Kobe Bryant's net worth at $150 million. The NBA's highest-paid player, he earned $24.8 million last season, part of an extension worth $83.5 million.
Forbes magazine estimates that with endorsement deals, Kobe last year earned $53 million before taxes and agent fees. So basically, Vanessa is sitting pretty.
The fact the marriage lasted 10 years also gives Vanessa big advantages under California law, as she is allowed to maintain her standard of living after the split.
In the petition filed Friday, Vanessa cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the divorce. The couple says the terms have already been settled privately.
The NBA star was caught cheating with multiple women by his wife, according to sources, with good old-fashioned gossip among basketball spouses to blame.
His latest mistress is rumored to be Jessica Burciaga, but that has not been confirmed.
The lesson in all of this? Get a prenup and/or don't cheat on your wife all the time.

Kobe Bryant: Ratted Out By Other Lakers' Wives?
Kobe Bryant can blame Basketball Wives for getting caught cheating.
Not the stars of VH1's Basketball Wives - none of whom are actually married, and one of whom isn't even involved with a basketball player - mind you. We mean actual wives of teammates, and other NBA squads. Let's just say that people talk.
Vanessa Bryant caught Kobe cheating - not Elin Nordegren style, but she did find out about his infidelity when talk of his extracurricular sexual exploits increased in frequency among her fellow spouses, according to a TMZ report.
Players often swear their wives to secrecy before dishing on their fellow NBA players, but that secrecy is rarely kept. Women all share intel about other guys.
This is done, in part, to ensure word will get back to them if their man cheats. It's like a trophy wife code of sorts. Informal and unwritten, but foolproof.
Vanessa Bryant filed divorce papers on Friday, after learning of Kobe's latest infidelity, which is seen as the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.
Jessica Burciaga is rumored to be the mistress, but that's just a rumor. True or not, he was clearly cheating on Vanessa, and it clearly wasn't the first time.
They have two kids. There was no prenup. She's about to be REAL rich!
