Reese Witherspoon: Hit By Car, Recovering at Home
She won an Oscar for Walk the Line, but Reese Witherspoon was sent to the hospital yesterday morning while trying to run along the street.
Various sources confirm that the jogging actress was struck by a vehicle around 11 a.m. PST in Santa Monica. The 84-year old driver of the car did not stop at an intersection, according to the police report, and was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian.
Fortunately, a rep for the actress reports her injuries were minor and she is now "resting comfortably" at home. Thank goodness.
Witherspoon will next appear in 2012's This Means War opposite Tom Hardy and Chris Pine.
Breaking News: Reese Witherspoon Maybe Looks Sort of Pregnant!
The whispers have surrounded Reese Witherspoon since she married Jim Toth in March. When will the Oscar-winning mother of two expand her family?
MAYBE soon, according to a DARING proclamation by OK!
“It is no secret that Reese wants to have children with Jim,” says an insider. “They have already been trying for some time now. They are already a wonderful family - the only thing missing is a new baby.”
The new baby rumors began, the tabloid says, when Reese, known as being one of Hollywood’s fittest actresses, began looking "softer" than usual.
Over the Fourth of July weekend, the Water For Elephants star wore a shirt over her bikini during a family outing in Malibu, giving rise to gossip.
An insider dishes a jaw-dropping tidbit: “Reese may be pregnant. Her stomach isn’t washboard flat and people have noticed. She’s relaxed her exercise routine. Reese typically hits the pavement for a long run every morning.”
So, unlike Jennifer Aniston, who is definitely pregnant or adopting about once a month ... Reese might be carrying Jim Toth's baby right now.
Blake Lively Nude Pic Scandal Provides Plenty of Material at MTV Movie Awards
The Blake Lively nude picture scandal wasn't directly addressed last night at the MTV Movie Awards, but it was referenced in a few thinly-veiled cracks.
As you've likely heard by now, a bevy of smoking hot pics purported to be Blake hit the Internet last week ... with most of them not showing her face.
Her reps were quick to issue a statement to let the media know that Blake Lively has NEVER taken nude photos and that the ones released are fake.
The alleged hacker responsible begged to differ, releasing batch #2.
Give Blake credit. If nothing else, she showed up to the MTV Movie Awards to promote Green Lantern as scheduled, and endured jokes at her expense.
It was rumored yesterday that she would poke fun at the scandal herself. That did not end up happening, although host Jason Sudeikis did the honors.
Introducing her, Sudeikis said that Ryan Reynolds would be joined by "Someone that we believe is the real Blake Lively though she won't confirm it."
Even Reese Witherspoon, one of the big MTV Movie Award winners this year, got in on the action with a light-hearted, well-timed shot at Blake.

"Rob possibly had the most hideous horrible cold of any co-star I’ve ever had to do a love scene with ever in my entire life,” Witherspoon told In Touch Weekly. “He was literally snorting and snotting through every second of it... I’m talking green, infectious, disgusting. I’m not kidding!”
Oh well. At least we know the sex scene between Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in Breaking Dawn is nothing but H-A-W-T.

Reese Witherspoon made her first appearance since marrying Jim Toth at Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards, and the newlywed looked amazing.
Oh yeah, and Robert Pattinson was there too.
The Water for Elephants co-stars presented the female vocalist award at the event, while musing about the film they just shot in her native Tennessee. "I liked drinking a lot of moonshine," joked Rob. Check out their banter here:
Miranda Lambert won the award the two were on hand to present. She, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum all racked up big wins at the annual event.
Earlier that day, the duo were in Santa Monica, Calif., doing another press event for the period piece about a romance sparked on a traveling circus.
Speaking of a circus, how about the scandalous leak of these Breaking Dawn sex pics and the uproar it caused from the film's producers? Yowza.
Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth: Married!
Forget walking the line. Reese Witherspoon walked down the aisle yesterday at her ranch in Ojai Valley, marrying entertainment agent Jim Toth in front of family members and friends.
The ceremony lasted approximately 20 minutes and took place in front of a crowd that included Witherspoon's kids, Renée Zellweger, Salma Hayek, Sean Penn, Scarlett Johansson, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey Jr. and others.
Witherspoon was introduced to "Here Comes the Bride" and wore a custom-made Monique Lhuillier dress, while her best friend served as Maid of Honor.
The actress and the agent started dating in early 2010 and we wish them a very happy life together.
Robert Pattinson Goes Beyond Twilight, Covers EW
