Feeling a little uninspired today? Can't believe it's still not the weekend? Well on days like this, you just gotta keep livin', man, L-I-V-I-N, and we've got just the video clip to help you do exactly that:

Yes, Matthew McConaughey's visit to a University of Texas at Austin football practice will help you surf the perfect wave of serenity all the way to the Island of Eternal Truth. Or maybe it's just really funny. You be the judge:

Following what must be the most zen-like pep talk in history (We've titled the speech "A Time to Chill."), McConaughey leads the team in a round of Wolf of Wall Sreet-style chest thumping - a practice that we imagine will now become a staple in locker rooms across the country.

Sadly, at no point does he spark a doob and ask, "Did you score a touchdown last week? It'd be a lot cooler if you did?"

Bryan Cranston might have hung up his Heisenberg hat, but if there's one thing we know after watching the 2014 Emmy Awards it's that the world can't get enough of Walter White.

Not only did Cranston and his Breaking Bad cohorts rack up an impressive 5 Emmy wins during the telecast, but he also racked up an impressive number of lip locks.

The most infamous of which will forever be that funny moment when Cranston kissed Julia Louis-Dreyfus. What can we say!? The man was excited!

Elsewhere, Sarah Silverman displayed some odd behavior, which is really nothing new for Sarah Silverman, so there's that. Oh, and shade was most definitely thrown.

In the direction of Jessica Lange, of all people. Say what now? Sit back, relax, and click through this gallery of the 2014 Emmy Awards in GIFs to relive the night's best moments:

Neither Matthew McConaughey nor Woody Harrelson walked away with any Emmy Awards last night.

They lost Leading Actor in a Drama to Bryan Cranston and True Detective lost Best Drama to Breaking Bad.

But it's not too late for these stars to be winners!

On stage to present a trophy early in the evening, good friends McConaughey and Harrelson made us laugh with their banter and also with their outfits... because the latter reminded us exactly of A Night at the Roxbury!

Harrelson totally channeled Will Ferrell's Steve Butabi, while McConaughey might as well have been doing an impression of Chris Kattan's Doug Butabi.

The Primetime Emmy Awards are being held a little earlier than usual this year, and so in order to avoid competing with preseason football and the 2014 Video Music Awards, the ceremony is being held on a Monday for the first time in 38 years.

But if you're feeling a bit confused, worry not!

For one thing, the show is unlikely to feature anything as unexpected as Miley Cyrus' homeless date to the VMAs. In addition, we've got everything you need to no about who's gonna take home the gold tonight in the handy gallery below:

Best Drama Series: Will Win - Breaking Bad
Expect a repeat win for the final season of the groundbreaking AMC drama.

Yes, the Emmys may have switched up their air date this year, they remain the most predictable of award shows.

Mad Men will soon be a thing of the past and series star Jon Hamm is already looking to the future.

While his latest feature, Million Dollar Arm, was a minor box office failure, Hamm is still hoping to break free from the role that made him famous and become a bankable big screen star.

Jon Hamm GQ Cover

He opened up about his career ambitions in the new issue of GQ, and based on some of the subtle disses he slipped into the interview, it seems Hamm thinks the best way to reach the top of the movie star heap is to bring down some of the guys who are already there.

"You look at someone like Matthew McConaughey," says Hamm. "Ten years ago you wouldn't have said he'd going to be an Oscar winning actor. The guy from Failure to Launch? You would've been laughed out of the room."

You'll never catch Ellen Page watching the French Open.

Or Megan Fox checking out any Megan Fox photos in the many magazines for which she poses.

Or, ironically, Pamela Anderson watching the Pamela Anderson sex tape. Not on her television, at least.

Indeed, many celebrities out there are just like us and you: they live with various irrational fears, from tennis balls (seriously!) to mirrors (for real) to chewing gum (you'll never guess who!) and other oddities in between.

Who is walking around with these unexpected phobias? We expose their deep, dark secrets below!

Ellen Page: Tennis Balls!
Page really did one say: "I have a phobia of tennis balls... I’ve always had it. Tennis comes on and I have to get out of the room."

Jimmy Kimmel often makes us laugh when he turns the camera on everyday pedestrians in Los Angeles, convincing them, for example, that Godzilla is real

But that's nothing compared to the talk show's running segment whose title says it all: Celebrities Read Mean Tweets About Themselves.

In this edition (the seventh overall), Julia Roberts cracks up over an insult regarding her mouth... Ashton Kutcher isn't amused by a suggestion that he should be hit by a bus... and Matthew McConaughey doesn't understand why anyone would refer to him as a "dick turd."

Others feeling the wrath of Twitter users in the following video include Mindy Kaling, Emma Stone and Sofía Vergara.

We can't get enough of this simple sketch.

With an Oscar win and a hit TV series, Matthew McConaughey has been having a pretty solid 2014 thus far.

Considering his famous love of chillin', you might expect the actor to take it easy for a while... but instead McConaughey somehow stepped his game up even more while surfing (of course) on a beach in Malibu recently.

According to the National Enquirer, the True Detective star saw a group of teenagers poking a baby seal with a stick to find out if it was injured.

Naturally, McConaughey paddled ashore (and, we'd imagine, shook the water droplets from his hair in slow motion) to inform the kids that the seal was just resting and waiting for his mother to return.

This year's annual Time 100 issue features Beyonce on the cover but the celebration of celebrities doesn't end there.

Though it generally focuses more on movers and shakers in the fields of science and global politics, this year's list of the 100 most influential people features more famous faces than the poshest post-Oscar parties.

Miley Cyrus

In addition to Queen Bey, Miley Cyrus, Matthew McConaughey, Pharrell Williams and Kerry Washington all made the list for their various contributions to the worlds of art and philanthropy.

Naturally, some have taken issue with Miley's inclusion on the list at such an early (and controversial) stage in her career, but it's hard to argue when she's defended by none other than her godmother, country legend Dolly Parton:

Whether you're high on life or just high, 4/20 is the day for you.

It's a de facto tribute to all things marijuana and we know more than a handful of celebrities who'll be smoking some bud today.

While there are definitely more than 20 celebrity stoners we could have listed here, this seems like as good a place as any to start.

So, while they roll up a joint and try to work on a Giant M&M Cookies Recipe or a Funfetti Cupcakes Recipe ahead of time, you can roll up a chair and flip through this slideshow.

Snoop Dogg
"You knowz mofo be rollin' up summa dat dank ass sticky-icky-icky and gettin' fizaded off the bubonic chronic right muthaf--kin' now." Uhhh, what Snoop said.

Notably not pictured? Seth Rogen

Because of Seth Rogen's well-documented devotion to the doobie, and those who love to get high with the actor, he gets a slideshow of its own.

Check that out after the jump ...

Matthew McConaughey Quotes

Levi was gonna stay home, but then he said, 'Dad, mom, I wanna go support mom's purses!' At 30 days old, he's talking about stuff like that!

Matthew McConaughey

To my father, who I know he's up there right now with a big pot of gumbo. He's got a lemon meringue pie over there, he's probably in his underwear and he's got a cold can of Miller Lite and he's probably dancing right now. To you, Dad, you taught me what it means to be a man.
