Jessica Biel showed off her engagement ring and the handsome man who gave it to her at the Metropolitan Costume Institute Gala in New York City last night.
The stars came out Monday for the annual event, but no one shined quite as brightly as Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake in a rare joint appearance.

Timberlake, 30, certainly looked dapper in a Tom Ford tux, but Biel, 30, stole the show, showing off her enviable figure in a low-cut Prada gown.
She also drew attention to her impressive engagement ring. Good work, J.T.

Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel Planning Big Summer Wedding
Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are getting married this summer, and while they have kept a low profile about their engagement, they are going all out.
The couple are pulling out all the stops for a big wedding, reports say.
"Justin and Jessica are planning a big [summer] wedding," a source close to the pair tells People. "Jessica initially wanted a smaller, more intimate wedding, but Justin from the beginning wanted a big wedding and that's what they have decided on."
According to the source, Timberlake, 31, and Biel, 30, have decided they want to "include all their friends" in the wedding celebration, says the source.
The pair have recently been spending time together in Atlanta where the burgeoning film star is shooting his latest project, Trouble with the Curve.
Biel, who was seen sporting her engagement ring last month, has yet to decide on her dress, the source notes, but is "very involved" in the planning.
As for the groom-to-be, the source says: "Justin has promised her the best day ever." Can't fault the guy for setting the bar high, can you?

As for the dress, Jess has her eye on Monique Lhuillier - one of the premiere designers for A-listers - as her "number one choice" for her wedding gown.
Not that there are photos to prove it, but Jessica Biel finally debuted the engagement ring at a Saturday Night Live after-party in NYC last weekend.
One source who laid eyes on it at the party says the engagement ring actually "wasn't huge" and "looked vintage and might have been custom made."
Hmm. Once worn by Justin's grandma perhaps?

The actress, 29, was seen getting cozy with her man, 31, at a Saturday Night Live after-party, the first time Biel went out in public with her sparkler.
It was a rare public display of affection for a couple who doesn't often step out together and who didn't even announce their own engagement.
They usually don't even attend premieres of the other's films together, so that the person starring gets the full spotlight for their work each time.
This time, though, Biel, 29, and Timberlake, 31, "were very lovey all night and kissed a few times," a guest at the Ristorante Asellina party says.
The couple, who started dating in 2007, celebrated Timberlake's appearance on SNL as Grammy-winning folk sensation Bon Iver with other guests.

That is the simple question posed by a celebrity gossip tabloid who tried to paint him as a cheater even though no credible evidence ever existed that he was.
After breakups and makeups, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel got engaged over the holidays. The couple of four and a half years will soon make it official!
While the notoriously private pair never flaunts or discusses their relationship, there was never any indication that JT stepped out on his girl. Yet we get this:
Seriously, why does Us Weekly hate Justin Timberlake of all people?

Sadie Bomar confirmed that her pride and joy and the actress, his on-again, off-again girlfriend of over four years, have taken the leap and gotten engaged.
"He called me on Christmas Day and told me he's engaged," Bomar said, adding that JT asked her not to discuss the news with anyone "until after the holidays."

After a series of breakups and makeups, Justin Timberlake is engaged to Jessica Biel. The couple of four and a half years will soon walk down the aisle.
Timberlake, a six-time Grammy winner, popped the question to the New Year's Eve actress last month. The setting was picturesque Jackson, Wyoming.
In typical fashion - the couple is notorious private and rarely even photographed together - it took weeks for news of the proposal to be confirmed.
Think Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel will last? We'd bet on it.
"Justin knows how much she loves snowboarding and the mountains, so it was the perfect place for many different reasons," one insider explains.
After a brief three-month split in 2011, Biel made it clear that she wanted to spend her life with Timberlake, who apparently felt the same way.
"When they reunited, they had a conversation about taking the next step," says the source, adding that he's "never been happier" with Jessica.
"He knew it was the right time to propose."
