Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison have turned down a reality TV offer, actually declining an invitation from VH1 to appear on Relationship Rehab. No, seriously. They said no.

"Though Doug and Courtney considered the offer, in the end they felt that this wasn't a perfect fit for the kind of show they wanted to do," an insider told Radar Online.

Relationship Rehab will follow around various couples and provide them with therapists and counseling sessions, which is a significant reason - according to this source - why the pair chose not to appear. Their relationship is supposedly just fine.

"There has been a lot of speculation about their marriage and a lot of people are just waiting for the inevitable train wreck to happen, but Doug and Courtney have an incredibly strong relationship and seem very happy together," the source said. "So doing a show about going into 'rehab' just doesn't make sense for them."

Guess that makes sense. Stodden's life does rule, after all.

Courtney Stodden may have been a virgin in May, but the then-16-year old went to Marmont Chateau in Hollywood on her wedding night and made up for lost boning with husband Doug Hutchinson. Big time. Oooohhhh gross yeah!

"I was aroused for 24 hours straight,” Courtney tells Radar Online, which must have been awkward because Hutchinson is 51. He was likely asleep by 9 p.m.

The rumor that got started a soon as this 17-year old married this 51-year old is now a fact, confirmed this week by Courtney's attention-starved mother Krista. She tells Radar Online that her daughter and her creepy son-in-law have signed with Roy Bank, the president of Merv Griffin Entertainment.

"We are proud that we were able to find the perfect producer for our reality show and are thrilled to be working with this prestigious production company," Krista says, previewing the series to come by adding:

"They are going to be very, very open about their lives. They want everybody to see their life. Nothing is off limits."

We know, Krista. The couple made that obvious by getting married in the first place.

In a true testament to their God-based connection, Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchison will soon star in their very own reality show.

The 16-year old and her 51-year old husband made this startling announcement during an interview this week with Australian's The Morning Show.

“We’ve been seduced by a lot of producers, wanting to do a reality TV show and we’re in negotiations right now with a very prominent producer,” Hutchison said. “We’re talking about the possibility of taking it to networks.”

Stodden jumped in to explain the series would be "out of this world," which is pretty much where most people want to see this sickening twosome end up.

Krista Stodden doesn't understand what all the fuss is about.

Yes, her daughter is 16. And, sure, she married a 51-year old. But Doug Hutchison "looks like he’s in his early 30s," the mother of Courtney Stodden told Radar Online this week, while her daughter "looks like she’s in her late 20s."

And looks are really all that matter, right?

Krista, who really wants you to know about her child's boobs, also insists that Hutchison is a "great guy."

"He’s not creepy," she said. "It’s like they’re talking about someone else when they say bad things about Doug."

For a couple so in love, Doug Hutchison and Courtney Stodden sure spend a lot of time in front of the camera - and not in the romantic, kinky, Kim Kardashian/Ray J kind of way.

Why do this 51-year old and 16-year continue to give interviews about their marriage?

"We have to have a sense of humor about it," Hutchison told E! last night, saying he sees their media appearances as "a forum to hopefully help people change their perspective and expand their minds about love."
