In his first extensive interview since losing the Presidential election to Barack Obama, Mitt Romney told Chris Matthews this morning that he only has himself to blame for not taking the White House.

“I lost my election because of my campaign," Romney said on Fox News Sunday. "Not because of what anyone else did."

Romney cited his failure to win over African-American and Hispanic voters, while also zeroing in on his "47 percent" comments as being detrimental to his bid.

Michelle Obama wore a sheath and matching bolero by Michael Kors, while Ann Romney opted for a softer look, with capped sleeves, a rounded collar and turquoise necklace.

Is the media grossly misreporting the taxes paid by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney? According to one review of his 2011 return, very much so.

Mitt and Ann Romney's 2011 adjusted gross income (AGI) was about $18.6 million, with their total federal income tax coming to $1.9 million, or 14.1 percent.

This number is a bit misleading, however, when analyzing Mitt Romney tax returns.

It implies the Romneys kept 85.9 percent of what they earned, which isn't the case.

Possible First Lady-to-be Ann Romney co-hosted Good Morning America this morning and shared her delicious Welsh cakes with the cast and crew.

Those things look pretty amazing.

Ann's GMA appearance was free of any hard-hitting campaign news, but there was some culinary drama as her famous cakes began burning on the griddle.

Fortunately, the wife of presidential candidate Mitt Romney resolved the situation before the scone-like delicacies were ruined. What are they exactly?

Mitt Romney's most effective campaign surrogate stopped by The Tonight Show Tuesday.

Ann Romney, the wife of presidential candidate Mitt Romney, made her late-night debut on Jay Leno's couch, advocating for her husband and sharing the requisite funny anecdotes, like this one:

Ann Romney proved herself to be a compelling proxy for Mitt, even if she steered clear of actual policy, when Leno asked for her thoughts on the now-infamous 47 percent video.

Mitt Romney gave the Internets another chuckle Monday with (possibly sarcastic) comments that appeared to show the GOP presidential candidate confused by the physics of aviation.

After his wife, Ann Romney, was forced to make an emergency landing last weekend, Mitt was worried because “When you have a fire in an aircraft, there’s no place to go, exactly."

Romney said the biggest problem in a distressed aircraft is that "the windows don’t open. I don’t know why they don’t do that. It’s a real problem. So it’s very dangerous."

Yahoo News' Washington bureau chief David Chalian has been fired after a shocking remark he made about Mitt Romney and his wife Ann was caught on camera.

Chalian was overheard saying that the Romneys were "not concerned at all" about Hurricane Issac and are "happy to have a party with black people drowning."

Chalian seemed to be referring to the Republican National Convention taking place in Tampa just as the Category 1 storm barreled across the Gulf of Mexico.

Yesterday, Yahoo announced it was firing Chalian, "effective immediately."

"David Chalian's statement was inappropriate and does not represent the views of Yahoo," the company said in a statement following the controversy.

"We have already reached out to the Romney campaign, and we apologize to Mitt Romney, his staff, their supporters and anyone who was offended."

Chalian released an apology Wednesday. He wrote that he was "profoundly sorry" and described his statement as an "inappropriate and thoughtless joke."

Chalian also apologized privately and publicly to the Romney campaign.

Ann Romney spoke Tuesday at the RNC, followed by V.P. nominee Paul Ryan last night. Presidential hopeful Romney takes the stage this evening.

Ann Romney, the wife of Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney, addressed the party's convention last night to discuss life, challenges, and her husband.

"Tonight, I want to talk to you about love," the warm and engaging Mrs. Romney said, regaling the crowd with stories of the couple's courtship and marriage.

The goal of her speech: Help people understand the personal side of her husband, a successful and decent man but one who struggles to connect with voters.

Think she succeeded? Take a look below ...

Ann Romney's Republican National Convention speech was both an introduction of herself and a full-throated defense of her husband's character and values.

She touched on her struggles with multiple sclerosis and breast cancer. She defended his work ethic, saying, "I can tell you Mitt Romney was not handed success."

"This man will not fail," she said of her husband of 43 years, as the crowd in Tampa Bay Times Forum erupted with cheers and gave her a standing ovation.

Ann defended her husband's great success in business, offering a character testimonial to rebut attacks that paint him as aloof, wealthy and out-of-touch.

"Mitt doesn't like to talk about how he has helped others because he sees it as a privilege, not a political talking point," said the mother of five sons.

"We're no different than the millions of Americans who quietly help their neighbors, their churches and their communities. They don't do it so that others will think more of them. They do it because there is no greater joy."

Comedian slash sort-of presidential candidate Roseanne Barr is laying into Mitt Romney's wife, Ann, over her recent remark that being a mom was her full-time job.

It's not that Barr supports Democratic strategist Hilary Rosen's comment (and subsequent apology) criticizing Ann for having "never worked a day in her life."

It's just that Ann's claim of raising five kids on her own is BS, Roseanne says.

  • Roseanne's Nuts

"Mrs. Mitt Romney claims to have worked her toned ass off, raising five Romney males all on her own, as privileged wives often do ... but, no, Ann, I call bulls--t on your Big Mama story, girlfriend," Barr wrote in a column for The Daily Beast.

Barr went on criticizing Romney for claiming she did it all solo, with the exception of a little assistance from a maid who would come in a couple of hours a week.

Roseanne writes that Ann is basically full of it:
