When you think celebrity twins, you undoubtedly think of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen first, followed perhaps by Tia and Tamera Mowry or Joel and Benji Madden.

There are a bunch of others you probably don't know about, however.

From actors and supermodels to athletes and political scions, more than a dozen stars grew up sharing a special connection with a twin sibling of their own.

While some duos parlayed that very fact of their existence into fame, other famous stars have lesser-known identical or fraternal twins living out of the limelight.

Check out 19 stars you may or may not realize have twins ...

Ashton Kutcher
Ashton Kutcher has a twin named Michael, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at a young age. Michael lives in the brothers' native Iowa with his son and wife, who is also expecting a baby this year.

When Kim Kardashian and Kanye West got together, we gave them our best side-eye, but it didn't seem that far-fetched that people so in love with themselves and attention would gravitate toward each other.

Not so with some of the other big couples in Hollywood, particularly those of the May-December varieties where the age gap is so great one could be the other's parent.

Then there are those pairings that inspire the public collectively asking "what could they POSSIBLY have in common?" Besides fame, that is. (And likely an affinity for kink.)

Some of Hollywood's best and brightest change significant others like normal people change underwear, so it's no surprise that some couplings are pretty bizarre.

Nevertheless, here are 17 weird celebrity couples we can't even believe:

Macaulay Culkin and Mila Kunis
Before becoming Ashton Kutcher's Baby Mama, Mila Kunis dated Macaulay Culkin...for EIGHT YEARS. Speaking of Ashton...

And speaking of those (sometimes) fleeting May-December romances, check out our gallery of some celebrity couples with big age differences between them.

Alanis Morissette's epic breakup anthem "You Oughta Know" was inspired by Dave Coulier, or so the urban legend goes. But was it really?

When you hear Coulier's name, you either picture his epic mullet from Full House or the fact that Uncle Joey from Full House inspired "You Oughta Know."

That's how associated he is with the song, widely believed to be inspired by him being an a--hole to Alanis. Dave is singing a different tune now, though.

In a recent interview, Coulier says that yes, he dated Alanis Morissette dated, but there's no way he had anything to do with the 1995 smash hit.

"You know, it's just funny to be the supposed subject of that song," he said. "First of all, the guy in that song is a real a-hole, so I don't want to be that guy."

No one wants to be ... but is he?

Coulier says that we all think this only because he inadvertently started what he now calls a myth by jokingly admitting to being the song's subject.

Alanis Morissette claims her fired housekeeper stole her dog and is refusing to give the pet back, effectively holding the pooch for a king's ransom.

The housekeeper, via the video below, tells a different story.

Alanis says the housekeeper took her dog without permission after she was fired; she counters that Alanis abandoned the dog after it shat all over the house.

Morissette and hubby Mario Treadway have since filed a lawsuit trying to get the dog back, and in it, claims her legal efforts are being used against her.

The singer is afraid that the more she protests, the more likely they are to drive up the price of a settlement to return the dog. Yes ... this is a real story.

Treadway says Circus "is not merely a piece of property. He is living and breathing" and each day without him, "[my] heart suffers more and more."

He says their former house manager is ultimately motivated by money and not love, and are just holding the pup in order to score a big payday.

Alanis Morissette is being sued by a former nanny who alleges that the singer never paid her overtime or allowed her to take breaks during 12-hour shifts.

Morissette, 39, and husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway have been sued by ex-employee Bianca Cambeiro, who filed the claims in court papers Thursday.

Alanis Morissette, Husband

Cambeiro cared for the couple's son Ever, who turns three on Christmas of this year, 3-4 days a week. And boy, those 3-4 days a week were rough!

Bianca says in court documents that she began working for Alanis Morissette in August 2011 at their Brentwood, Calif., home for the rate of $25 an hour.

Sounds like a great gig, right? Not so much, Bianca says.

The 24-year-old might need all the help he can get.

Brown suffered a seizure earlier this month that his rep blamed on non-stop negativity surrounding the star, then just nixed four shows in Canada.

The reason? Personal and health issues.

Moreover, he was just slapped with 1,000 more hours of community service at an upsetting court hearing. No wonder he needs to clear his head.

You live, you learn, Chris?!

You oughta know ... that Alanis Morissette takes her breastfeeding seriously. Like really seriously. She said in an interview that she may continue it for Ever.

Ever being her 17-month-old son, natch.

"I'll stop whenever he wants," the singer said on Good Morning America Thursday in regards to the controversial, popular trend of attachment parenting.

"I know some children who have weaned naturally at two years, some kids wean naturally a couple of years later; I mean, it's up to every child," she said.

Alanis Morissette, Mario Treadway

Alanis said if that means breastfeeding Ever when he's six, so be it.

Attachment parenting is an umbrella term used to describe nurturing techniques such as long-term breastfeeding, sleeping in the same bed as kids, etc.

The Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik is another famous advocate for the philosophy, which was recently featured in a buzzed-about Time magazine cover story.

A group of breastfeeding military moms brought attention to the cause as well.

Alanis, whose husband is rapper Mario "Souleye" Treadway," said: "I consider it appropriate for this particular child and this particular family."

She added she's "in a privileged position, where [she] can afford the time and resources to support this kind lifestyle … that's not possible for a lot of families."
