There's a lot to like about Robert Pattinson - acting ability, dynamite hair, a humble attitude - but the actor admits he isn't the most romantic person alive.

"I really haven't done that many romantic things in my life... I mean, I've watched Titanic," he said yesterday at a press conference promoting New Moon. "I put a flower on someone's locker when I was 15."

Who is this person?!? Kristen Stewart will have her killed.

As Pattinson and his castmates embark on a major publicity tour, Robert also touched on the following topics at this media event:

His fan base: "There was a woman who came up to me the other day, she must have been in her nineties... and [she said] exactly the same things as 12-year-old girls. It's kind of bizarre."

Taylor Lautner's tougness: "Taylor had agreed to an interview where the interviewer was going to fight him. I don't think I would ever agree to do that. Looking at Taylor's martial arts videos from when he was 9, I wouldn't want to. Maybe if I had a weapon."

His image: "I have very specific ideas about how I want to do my work and how I want to be perceived, to the point of ridiculousness sometimes. I don't listen to anyone, that's why I don't have a publicist or anything. I couldn't stand it if someone tried to tell me what to do."

A celebrity that thinks for himself? What a novel concept!

Sorry. The above headline is false and misleading. We just wanted to know what it felt like to act like Star, OK! Weekly or other trashy tabloids for a change.

Answer: dirty.

But the tease is inspired by an actual photo (seen below) Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart posed for in the December issue of Harper's Bazaar.

The magazine features an extensive spread of the rumored couple, acting closer and happier than we've ever seen the pair before. In a few of the shots, both Rob and Kristen are actually smiling!

While neither confirms any romantic feelings for the other in the article, hints are dropped. Said Pattinson of his co-star:

"She's a unique girl. You really don't meet many people like Kristen."

Stewart, meanwhile, said "we had a very responsive, palpable thing" when first auditioning together; and, we can only imagine, when naked in hotel rooms together.

Robert Pattinson photos are handsome, yet they're also seen less frequently these days than pants on Britney Spears from 2006-2008.

As numerous sources have confirmed, the actor has been keeping a low profile ever since paparazzi bombarded him and his co-stars during the shooting of Twilight.

For that reason, it's breaking news when the gorgeous actor merely surfaces these days, as he did in Japan earlier this week. Pattinson joined New Moon director Chris Weitz for a press conference in Japan.

Don't worry, American readers, Rob will make his way back to the States shortly. After all, he's got a movie to promote here, as well as a girlfriend to calm down.

Kristen Stewart recently said she hates fame, which is ironic because she wouldn't have met Pattinson unless she were a celebrity; which means she wouldn't have the chance to wake up next to this face every morning...

In the latest issue of Vanity Fair, Robert Pattinson says he is not dating Kristen Stewart. He refers to his Twilight Saga co-star as a "good friend," but also says it doesn't matter what he claims.

"It doesn't make any difference what you say [to the tabloids. I've literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like 'Oh, they were on secret dates!' It's like 'Where? I can't get out of my hotel room!'"

Wait, does that mean Rob and Kristen did NOT give OK! Weekly a tour of their apartment last month?!?

Elsewhere in the article, Pattinson does acknowledge the positive influence Stewart has had on his life. He says:

"It's quite nice to have someone who is genuinely indifferent to the whole spectacle of everything."

Meanwhile, Vanity Fair goes all supermarket tabloid in the feature, speculating on Robert's relationship with Kristen and analyzing their interactions like any trashy, celebrity gossip magazine would do.

"It's very likely that their off-screen relationship mirrored their on-screen one: an intense attraction that couldn't be realized... [Stewart] and Pattinson have mastered the not-touching thing," writes Evgenia Peretz in the piece.

At the end of the day, whether these two are dating is none of our business. Everyone should just relax and drool over Robert Pattinson pictures from the shoot. Enjoy...

Hard as it is to believe, a reliable source says a recent cover story touting this couple's break-up is completely untrue. Everything is fine between the New Moon stars, reports E! News.

Why don't we hear that from the pair itself?

"[Kristen is] especially closed-mouth and sensitive," said an insider. "She was going through a breakup with Michael [Angarano], meanwhile all these reporters asking about every detail of her love life. She has no intention of ever doing that again."

It's hard to blame her for that, isn't it?

The source, clearly a fan of Pattinson and Stewart, asks a simple question:

"Everyone on set knows what's going on with Rob and Kristen, and everyone just lets it happen without bothering them with labels or questions - why can't the public do that, too?"

Instead, fans clamor for as much information as possible. For example, will the couple arrive together to the premiere?

"I think that Rob and Kristen will go separate," Justine Wachsberger (Gianna in New Moon) said. "They are pretty private people. Everything they have done in the past, they have tried to keep it separate, so I would say that won't change now."

Due to poor magazine sales the pressure of the relationship, a leading supermarket tabloid has invented a new story that reports that Kristen Stewart has broken up with Robert Pattinson.

“Rob was talking marriage,” said OK! Weekly's imaginary anonymous source, adding Stewart was unhappy with how little she was seeing of her friends and family. “She told him they need to take a break.”

How sad. It was just two issues weeks ago that this same publication pretended to have interviewed a supposedly happy Robsten inside their home, citing the couple itself as claiming it was essentially "married" already.

What could have gone wrong in the last few days? It's hard for OK! to make up believable quotes from non-existent people to say. But there is good news:

The magazine is already working on a cover story about aliens taking over Kristen's body Rob winning his true love back. Phew!

You have so much going for you: the hair; the beautiful girlfriend; the adoring fan base; the successful film franchise.

We beseech you not to press your luck and try what so many other actors have failed at: the studio album. In a new interview with Austrailia's The Daily Telegraph, Pattinson hints that a CD may be on the way.

"I’m not particularly interested in releasing it, but I’d like to do some gigs," he said. "I guess the only way to do that is to get an album out."

On his parents: "They’re always saying I should be really proud of myself, but I say, 'It’s luck, everything is just luck.'"

On life as Edward Cullen: "There's something about that character that, for some reason, has sparked an interest in massive degrees in so many different people... If you want to compete with your own character, you have to really fight. I don't know if I could be bothered to fight. I just let it go by."
