According to the N.Y. Daily News, Alex Rodriguez has slithered back to ex-wife Cynthia Rodriguez in the wake of his steroid scandal - and Madonna is not happy.

"Madge is pissed!" reveals an insider, after A-Rod fled to Coral Gables, Fla., to be with C-Rod. "Alex ran right home to Cynthia. To Madonna, it's the ultimate dis."

According to sources, the Queen of Pop - who has been spotted with model Jesus Luz of late - is livid because A-Rod didn't come to her for solace.

The reason? "Alex's handlers want to make sure he's as far from Madonna as possible," says the insider. "He has enough negative publicity as it is."

Even after their messy divorce scandal last year, Alex Rodriguez is said to be finding comfort in the arms of ex-wife Cynthia amid the fallout from his positive steroid test.

No stranger to the spotlight, the Material Girl has gotten her fair share of attention lately by squiring Jesus Luz, a 22-year-old Brazilian, around New York.

But her camp insists that her dalliances with Luz - who's featured wet and making out with Madonna in W magazine's March issue - are just for publicity.

He may never come through in the clutch, but Alex Rodriguez looks like a natural clutching daughter Ella, 5 months, while 3-year-old Natasha walks beside him.

Fortunately for little Ella and Natasha, no strippers were in sight to distract their father as this adorable, wholesome and candid photograph was taken.

A-Rod and the girls' mom, Cynthia Rodriguez, split up this summer after more than six years of marriage, but look like they're getting along here, at least.

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, Alex Rodriguez and Madonna are the subject of debate - will he really abandon these adorable kids for the Material Girl?

People shoots down that report, citing a source claiming A-Rod "always had every intention of spending the holiday with Cynthia, the family, and his two daughters."

Moreover, the source says Cynthia's mother, father and other family members are flying in for the holiday, and Alex will be there for the entire long weekend.

Maybe so, but TMZ reports that 50-year-old pop diva and the 33-year-old Yankees star were spotted exiting a private jet in Miami yesterday. Very interesting!

Alex Rodriguez has priorities. His children just aren't among them.

The Yankees slugger, who ditched his wife of over six years, Cynthia Rodriguez, after becoming smitten with Madonna, is a "soul-less" man who is eschewing his kids on Thanksgiving in favor of his lover, according to C-Rod.

According to Access Hollywood and the New York Post, Cynthia, who's in the final stages of her divorce from A-Rod, wrote this e-mail to a confidant:

"My 6-foot-3, 220-pound soul-less, soon-to-be ex-husband is abandoning his kids on Thanksgiving Day to be with Madonna ... She called and he ran on her command back to New York City ... Gross!"

Way to include his height and weight, Cyn.

This sums up the respective attitudes of A-Rod and Cynthia these days.

Instead of ushering in the holidays in Miami with his children, Natasha, 4, and Ella, 1 - A-Rod, 33, is hosting a dinner at his Manhattan apartment for Madonna, 50, and her kids, Lourdes, Rocco and David, and manager Guy Oseary.

So much for the friction between Madonna and Alex Rodriguez we reported earlier, amid reports that she's pissed over his indifference toward Kabbalah.

To add insult to injury, after Alex Rodriguez left Miami at Madonna's beck and call, his lawyer asked C-Rod to sign the couple's divorce settlement.

As rumors swirled about him moving next door to Madonna, A-Rod was spotted with his ex and one of their two young daughters in Miami this weekend.

Troubled Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez and wife Cynthia Rodriguez have settled their bitter divorce fight. Terms of the settlement were not released.

"Cynthia and Alex Rodriguez have amicably resolved their dissolution of marriage proceedings," lawyers for the former couple said in a statement.

Both Alex and Cynthia Rodriguez have remained "deliberately engaged in these private negotiations. During the negotiations and resolution all decisions were made with the best interests of their children as the paramount concern."

Cynthia, 35, filed for divorce in July, saying her estranged husband – known to fans as A-Rod (or several more insulting names we can't print here) – "emotionally abandoned" her and their children and had a series of affairs.

With Joslyn Morse, Alicia Marie, Candice Houlihan, maybe Madonna and so on.

Cynthia Rodriguez had asked to keep their $12 million Coral Gables, Fla., mansion. The mother of his two children, Natasha, 3, and Ella, five months, also wanted a cut of his baseball earnings during the duration of their marriage.

Alex Rodriguez reportedly made $28 million during the 2008 season and is in the first year of a 10-year, $275 million contract with the New York Yankees.

The Rod argued that the settlement should be determined by their prenup, which Cynthia (maiden name Scurtis) signed a month before their 2002 wedding.

He admitted the marriage was "irretrievably broken," but noted Florida is a no-fault state for divorces and chastised her for mentioning "immaterial and impertinent" issues like his alleged "extra marital affairs and other marital misconduct."

Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez is playing hardball against wife Cynthia in their divorce case, saying he wants their prenuptial agreement enforced.

In court papers obtained by the New York Daily News, A-Rod's side responds point by point to the July 7 divorce filing by Cynthia Rodriguez.

A-Rod admits the marriage is "irretrievably broken," but because Florida is a no-fault divorce state, he doesn't have to say why - and won't.

Claims that he "emotionally abandoned his wife and children" and that they broke up because of his "extramarital affairs and marital misconduct" are "immaterial and impertinent and should be stricken," Alex's court filing states.

This is in response to her petition to the court, in which Cynthia Rodriguez asked for the couple's $12 million estate and "equitable distribution" of all assets acquired during her six-year marriage to Alex Rodriguez.

While naming no figure, she petitioned for alimony and support, including benefits as life and health insurance and private schools - suggesting she be able to maintain the "high standard of living" A-Rod has provided.

A-Rod, whose 10-year, $275 million contract with the New York Yankees makes him baseball's highest-paid player, says he wants the prenup enforced. What the terms are is not known, but apparently they don't suit Cynthia.

Guess he has a history of being brainwashed.

Several friends of New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez say estranged wife Cynthia Rodriguez "brainwashed him," the New York Daily News reports.

"Alex has always been into psychotherapy, looking for ways to make himself mentally stronger," a longtime confidante told the paper.

"Cynthia Rodriguez has a master's degree in psychology. Once she found out how vulnerable he was, she got into his head. Several of us begged him not to marry this woman, but he went ahead and did it anyway."

Did she allegedly abuse him this way because of his threesomes?

Not entirely, at least. A source suggests that C-Rod, who is Greek Orthodox, always disliked her husband's image as a Latino sports star and repeatedly urged him to downplay his Dominican heritage.

"She didn't want him typecast as a Latin player. She discouraged him from taking part in Hispanic community events," the source said.

As for the troubled third baseman's alleged "affair of the heart" (or sex tape) with Madonna that led to his separation from Cynthia, a source tells the Daily News that ironically, "Cynthia's the reason Alex met Madonna."

"She kept hounding him to call [Madonna's manager] Guy Oseary and get them backstage at one of her concerts."

Cynthia Rodriguez wants to know everything about Alex Rodriguez.

That includes his finances, what women he's had affairs with (cough, Candice Houlihan) and also if he's ben wiretapping and putting private detectives on her.

Seriously, it's in the latest court papers filed by C-Rod.

She is demanding that Alex Rodriguez produce documents about all things financial - his tax returns, banking specifics, mortgage applications, stock portfolio data, wills and life insurance. But that's not even the juicy part.

Cynthia Rodriguez wants "any reports you have received from a detective, investigator or any other person based upon surveillance of your spouse."

Alex Rodriguez reunited with Cynthia Rodriguez in Toronto last weekend, so he could see his two children. These Rods are still very much separated.

On top of that, she wants "all tape recordings and other evidence prepared from tape recordings made in connection with any wiretapping or other electronic surveillance conducted by you or others on your behalf."

Cynthia Rodriguez also wants "all electronic evidence ... contained in all computers to which you have access" over the last three years.

That means iPhones, BlackBerries, the works. Was A-Rod keeping tabs on his old lady - and will it come back to bite him?

Cynthia Rodriguez is speaking out publicly for the first time since filing for divorce on Monday from Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez.

She still loves her husband, Rodriguez told New York Post columnist Cindy Adams. But his alleged infidelities - Joslyn Morse, Candice Houlihan, possibly Alicia Marie, and so on - had simply caused her too much pain.

C-Rod, who is in Miami with her two small daughters while Alex remains in New York, revealed that her husband supported her leaving town when news of his alleged affair - of the heart, or otherwise - with Madonna.

"My husband knew I was going. He encouraged it," says Cynthia Rodriguez.

"I needed to get away. With clear-headed friends. To breathe. To think how I'm going to handle my kids. I just needed a little time."

Scorned spouse Cynthia Rodriguez said that the couple's three-year-old daughter, Natasha, has been asking for her father and saying, "I miss my daddy," according to this morning's New York Post.

The All-Star's estranged wife also denied reports that she ran off to Paris with "pal" Lenny Kravitz and went on a $100,000 shopping spree just to punish her husband, leaving her girls, including 11-week-old baby Ella, at home.

New York Yankees superstar Alex Rodriguez was smitten with Madonna six months ago, exchanging text messages with her in Miami while dining with a friend, according to iffy unnamed sources quoted by Us Weekly.

"He kept smiling, acting as if he was a little kid," the dinner companion told the celebrity news mag. "He told me it was Madonna. I was shocked."

The highest-paid player in baseball then "proceeded to say he was in love with her," the pal tells Us. "I thought he was kidding, but he wasn't."

By February, the 32-year-old slugger had upped the ante. "He said, 'She's my f--king soulmate, dude,'" the supposed friend reports.

On Monday, Cynthia Rodriguez, A-Rod's wife of nearly five years, filed for divorce. Last week, news broke that Alex had been making late night visits to Madonna's apartment. Sources are calling it an "affair of the heart."

"Without talking about specifics of sexual conduct, there's no question [that there was an affair]," C-Rod's attorney, Earle Lilly, said in a statement. "No one very often has pictures of the actual sex itself."
