Last week, we reported that Kylie and Kendall Jenner are attempting to trademark their names, because being a member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan means figuring out how to turn a profit from every part of your being.
Now, their notoriously opportunistic "momager" Kris is following in their footsteps by attempting to cash in on a group of letters.
No, the elder Jenner isn’t trademarking "Kris" (though it would be funny to see her send a bill to her daughter’s ex-husband). Instead, she’s trying to license "momager" – the obnoxious portmanteau that’s so often appears before her name.
It’s an odd move, as even though Kris is the most famous momager of the moment, there are a number of other women who fit the bill.
TMZ points out that the long list of Hollywood momagers includes such well-known names as Tina Knowles and Dina Lohan.
So will Kris be seeing them in court if either of them dares to refer to herself as a momager?
It probably wouldn’t be all that inconvenient for Dina. She probably already has a few cases pending against her.
Anyway, Kris better hope there’s no truth to the rumors about her being fired by the Kardashians. We can’t think of anything sadder than the world’s only momager losing all her clients.
