Iggy Azalea: Dating Nick Young!

by at .  Updated at . Comments

Iggy Azalea's 2014 Billboard Music Awards performances are gaining an awful lot of attention these days, but rocking the stage with Ariana Grande isn't the only noteworthy thing Iggy-Ig did last night:

She also debuted her new romance on the red carpet, making her first public appearance with LA Lakers guard Nick Young.

Iggy and Nick reportedly started dating in November of 2013, but have kept their relationship private until just this week.

The BBMAs mark the first time the couple has posed together on the red carpet, but they unofficially revealed their relationship over the weekend, when Young jumped to Azalea's defense on Twitter, following Tyler the Creator's comments that Iggy "stinks."

"It smell good to me," Young tweeted following Tyler's remarks on 106 & Park.

We're not sure what he was referring to by "it" and we're probably better off not knowing.

Anyway, the dispute was quickly resolved, as Tyler tweeted an apology to Iggy, possibly as a result of realizing he'd pissed off a 6' 7" professional athlete.

So it seems like Iggy and Nick's decision to go public is already paying off!

Between Nick Young and Ariana Grande, Iggy is certainly forming some very beneficial partnerships these days.
