Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard Push for Boycott, Slam Tabloids for Publishing Kid Pics

by at .  Updated at . Comments

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have had enough.

The awesome couple took Twitter last night in an attempt to start a boycott: They are asking people to stop purchasing magazine that print photos of famous babies without their parents permission.

"Children shouldn't be stalked," Dax wrote, using some hashtags to make the magazines he has in mind obvious: #boycottusweekly #boycottstar #boycottpeople #boycottintouch.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard
We totally adore Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard. They may even be our favorite celebrity couple.

Bell and Shepard are parents to a baby girl named Lincoln and are yet to share any pictures of their child.

But some paparazzo went ahead and snapped a few recently anyway, setting off this parental firestorm.

"The "look at the celebs kid at the park!" teaches us a disengaged vouyerism. think abt how being followed by photos all day effects THE KID," Bell Tweeted yesterday, adding:

"Now think about how you play the MOST NECESSARY role in the sad chain of events-the consumer. Things won't change till the consumer does."

Amen, Dax and Kristen! We are totally on board with this.

Plus, why would anyone purchase a magazine when they could read all the celebrity gossip news out there for FREE on THG?!?

If they had shown their baby to the world, they probably would not be bothered so much by the paps. Plus, there were pics of them the other day out and about and you saw their daughter the first time. I mean give me a break! You cant keep the kid hidden, nor can you say its the magazines or paps fault because if they had just shown the kid in the first place the paps wouldn't be itching to get their hands on that first picture. What they are doing is feeding the paps, adding fuel to the fire, making it worse. How about moving to someplace less public? And hey, you people chose to be public so get over it. I know the kid didn't, but get off your high horse already! They are so damn annoying!

Let's knew before acting celebrities kid's picture's shows up into magazines all the time, and yet you still wanted to be famous? I'm sorry but you chose that life! I do agree nobody should get close to your child...or stalk a child. But, if your walking around in a park ... it is what is. How about boycotting Starbucks because they're too politically correct to donate coffee ( not employees coffee) to our troops.

Nice couple I like to see happiness in every couple but u don't... congratulations

they are right.
parents take resposibility when their kid is on pictures. PLEASE REMEMBER THIS 2014, not 1955.
