Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have had enough.
The awesome couple took Twitter last night in an attempt to start a boycott: They are asking people to stop purchasing magazine that print photos of famous babies without their parents permission.
"Children shouldn't be stalked," Dax wrote, using some hashtags to make the magazines he has in mind obvious: #boycottusweekly #boycottstar #boycottpeople #boycottintouch.
Bell and Shepard are parents to a baby girl named Lincoln and are yet to share any pictures of their child.
But some paparazzo went ahead and snapped a few recently anyway, setting off this parental firestorm.
"The "look at the celebs kid at the park!" teaches us a disengaged vouyerism. think abt how being followed by photos all day effects THE KID," Bell Tweeted yesterday, adding:
"Now think about how you play the MOST NECESSARY role in the sad chain of events-the consumer. Things won't change till the consumer does."
Amen, Dax and Kristen! We are totally on board with this.
Plus, why would anyone purchase a magazine when they could read all the celebrity gossip news out there for FREE on THG?!?
