Robert De Niro has played his share of Mobsters.
Now, following the trajectory of his actual age, De Niro is taking on the role of an ex-mobster in The Family.

De Niro plays Fred Manzoni, an ex-mafioso who ratted out his fellow mobsters. As part of Witness Protection, he and his family are moved to France.
Michelle Pfeiffer, Tommy Lee Jones, and Dianna Agron also star.
Luc Besson directs the film, which he co-wrote with Tonino Benacquista and Michael Caleo.
