On Sunday night, a nightmare of a season came to an end for the Los Angeles Lakers, as they were swept out of the playoffs by the San Antonio Spurs.

But Dwight Howard was not around to see the conclusion: he was ejected in the third quarter for cursing at a referee.

Will the free agent center return to the team?

It’s unclear, but legend Magic Johnson took to Twitter after the game and laid into the supposed franchise center.

“Your teammates and fans were counting on you,” Magic wrote, adding that he’s been swept before but “never let my team down by getting kicked out of the game.”

With Kobe Bryant having torn his Achilles and nearing the end of his career, the Lakers do need a new superstar.

But many in Lakers Nation are torn on whether they want someone like Howard to lead the way.

The seven-footer, however, will receive a $100-million-plus contract from some team for sure. And it’s a good thing, too. He may have a his FIFTH baby – by five different mothers – on the way.
