Legendary sportscaster Al Michaels was arrested Friday night for DUI.
The 68-year-old went through a DUI checkpoint in Santa Monica around 10 p.m., and when he spoke to officers, they detected an odor of alcohol.
The longtime voice of Monday and Sunday Night Football was pulled over and given a field sobriety test. Performing poorly, he was arrested.
Al Michaels was released from jail early the next morning.
Michaels' blood alcohol level was right at the legal limit - he blew a .08 and a .09 in two breathalyzer tests - and was reportedly friendly and cooperative.
Here's hoping this gets resolved in time for football season.
