Note to talk show hosts everywhere: do not piss off Matt Damon.

Following years of "bumping" the Oscar winner because he ran out of time, Jimmy Kimmel was duct-taped and gagged last night, as Damon took over hosting duties and turned Jimmy Kimmel Live into Jimmy Kimmel Sucks.

He gave the monologue; he interviewed guests such as Nicole Kidman and Gary Oldman; he received testimonials from Oprah and Robert De Niro.

It was one of the more creative, hilarious running gags in talk show history. Watch the opening now:
