Bethenny Frankel Divorce Demands: Child Support, Custody, Residency

A day after Bethenny Frankel filed for divorce from Jason Hoppy, details have emerged that outline this former reality star's demands.

In a nutshell, she's seeking child support, permanent residency and primary custody.

In divorce documents obtained by TMZ, Frankel - who is worth over $25 million on her own - is after...

  • Child support that's retroactive to the date on which she filed for divorce.
  • Medical, dental, optical, therapeutic and orthodontic expenses for her and the couple's daughter, Bryn.
  • Life insurance listing her and Bryn as beneficiaries.
  • Primary physical custody of Bryn.
  • Exclusive occupancy of the apartment she and Hoppy shared.

Says a source to TMZ of Frankel's mindset:

"This is a preliminary step to move the process forward.  She wants to work this out privately and amicably. All Bethenny cares about is that it works out the best way possible for Bryn."

    Bethenny is a real New Yorker and her husband a real mid-Westener. He can't understand her drive, and she can't understand his incessant need to include his parent's in everything. What ever made him think he could corral an independent spirit.

    I thought that she was damaged, but just did'nt realize how damaged. I guess the fruit dos'nt fall far from the tree, what was done to her is going to be what she does to that presious little girl, I just hope that jason fights for all its worth to keep things normal in his daughters life. He deserves so much better...as well as HIS FAMILY.

    Are you kidding me? Greedy bitch! I liked her until I read this. From what I have seen, Jason is a great father. They should have shared custody and Jason should get spousal support - and a LOT of it.
