Ariel Winter Splits From Cameron Palatas

The controversial relationship between Ariel Winter and Cameron Palatas is over.

According to the 14-year old actress' mother, Chrystal Workman, the reason she and her daughter have clashed was due to the fact that Workman caught Winter is bed with the 18-year old Palatas.

She even filed a police report on September 24 that said "she walked in the guest bedroom of her home and found her daughter, Ariel Winter Workman, in bed with boyfriend, Cameron Lewis Palatas."

Workman added that the couple had been together for five months and Winter has been "rebelling" in order to "continue her relationship with Cameron."

Whatever the truth may have been at the time, sources now tell E! News these two have called it quits.

Winter, meanwhile, continues to reside with her sister while law enforcement officials investigate the claims of abuse against Workman.

These are the same claims that came up nearly 20 years ago, which prompted Winter's sister to also be removed from Workman's care. She never returned to live with her mother.

Workman has been barred from contact with her daughter until a hearing on November 20.

UPDATE: An insider tells The Daily News that Winter and Palatas, broke up "months before" the alleged incident took place in late September.

When asked for comment, Workman told the newspaper: I stand by [the police report] ... I can't say anything more. This is a very sad situation. Just pray for my family."

Another source, meanwhile, tells TMZ that Winter and Palatas never had sex.
