Following another intense season of designing and bickering, Project Runway announced its latest winner last night.

And who came out on top between finalists Fabio Costa, Melissa Fleis, Christopher Palu and Dmitry Sholokov?

Dmitry Sholokov!

Thanks to a concept inspired by organic architecture, Dmitry included leather elements and a lot of geometry, which led to high praise from guest judge Jennifer Hudson.

"It's rich, honey," she told Sholokov.

As the champion, Dmitry will receive $100,000 from L'Oreal Paris to start his own fashion line, along with a spread in Marie Claire; a 2013 Lexus GS 350; a $50,000 technology suite by HP and Intel and the opportunity to design and sell an exclusive collection at Lord & Taylor.

Not shabby!

"This is the biggest day of my life. I just won Project Runway," said Dmitry. "I have no idea how the f--- I made it. I'm beyond happy and proud."

Did Dmitry deserve to win, readers?

I have no idea what “organic architecture” means, but I guess it doesn’t have to mean anything to grab the title of winner on “Project Runway.” Dmitry has always been my favorite, and he is a master at sewing and construction. Unfortunately, I missed the final episode of “Project Runway,” but I did remember to record it on my Hopper. There is a ton of DVR recording space, so I will have room to record the upcoming “Project Runway: All stars.” I am not a fan of Lord and Taylor, but I will definitely make a stop there to see Dmitry’s collection when it’s launched.
