Patrick Kennedy Welcomes Taylor Swift to the Family

The big news coming out of the Democratic National Convention is that former Congressman Patrick Kennedy is a big fan of Taylor Swift!

TMZ caught up with the politician yesterday and asked about the singer because Swift is dating Robert Kennedy Jr.'s son, Conor Kennedy. How does Patrick Kennedy feel about this relationship?

"We love Taylor Swift," he replied. "She's been a great friend and we're happy for Conor... If she wants to be in the family, she's already a part of it."

By some accounts, she most definitely does want to be. Insiders claim Swift and Kennedy may elope, with those close to Taylor saying they've never seen her this smitten over a boyfriend so quickly.

That ought to make the inevitable breakup song all the more interesting!

    Taylor is 22 so i think dating around until you find the right guy is normal. She seems like a very sweet girl and falls hard for love easily.
