Remember Arin Ray?

The young singer was part of The X Factor Season 1's polarizing inTENsity, a group that advanced pretty far… but was also hated on by countless viewers.

But the 16-year old appeared last night on his own, donning a bow tie and belting out an original track titled "Count on Me." Can we count on seeing a lot more of Ray this season? Decide for yourself:

Ray was one of four standouts from yesterday. By our estimation, the others include:

  1. Sophie Tweed-Simmons (who sang "To Make You Feel My Love").
  2. Dinah Jane Hansen ("If I Were a Boy").
  3. Daryl Black ("Steroes Hearts").

    Arin Ray is really good and sang well. His style is like Chris Brown and Usher. I think Arin Ray has star quality and I like him most this season.

    I thought Arin was BAD. I can't believe their positive comments. He wasn't even close to on key.
