Amanda Bynes pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor hit-and-run charges Thursday in Van Nuys, Calif. Her attorney entered the not guilty pleas on her behalf.
The charges stem from April 10 and August 6 accidents.
Bynes, whose license was suspended August 25 based on those incidents and an April 6 DUI arrest, is now in New York, where she plans to launch a fashion line.
She brought her bizarre behavior to the Big Apple, it seems.
During a two-hour evening visit to the Little Cupcake Bakeshop in SoHo on Wednesday, Bynes locked herself in the bathroom for a half-hour, according to Celebuzz.
This alarmed a patron, especially after she did not respond for 15 minutes as he tried to communicate through the door. Police were called for the OK to break down the door.
Just then, Bynes emerged as if nothing had happened. Standard.
She's vowed NEVER to return to L.A., but she has little choice in the short term. Bynes' hit-and-run case is due back in court October 19, and the DUI case 10 days after that.
