Kelsey Grammer Welcomes Daughter, Reveals Loss of Twin Son

The actor's wife, Kayte Walsh, gave birth to a daughter named Faith early Friday morning in Los Angeles. She weighed in at six pounds, two ounces.
“We are thrilled,” the couple told People of the birth. “Mother and child are in excellent health.”
Unfortunately, the beautiful arrival was accompanied with the announcement that Walsh - who had previously been revealed to be carrying twins - miscarried a little boy shortly after learning of that fact.
“This was not something we cared to make known publicly at the time," Grammer and Walsh said. "It was unspeakably painful and we know that people will understand our desire to keep the news private then, as we know they will respect our privacy in this matter now.”
The twosome got married in February 2011 and renewed their vows in June. We wish nothing but health and happiness to their brand new daughter and share their pain over the earlier loss.
