I think Ann Curry was treated unfairly and I will not be watching the Today Show anymore. I know what it feels like to be butchered from a job but, I will say this, "What goes around comes around". NBC made a terrible mistake and now they have to live with their decision.

So agree with comments here. I forever thought Ann Curry was snubbed and always treated as a second hand citizen on the Today show. Totally pathetic because she was truly deserving of her position. I do think Matt Laurer threw her under the bus many times over... Its probably for the best Ann. You will find better. The today show was childish in many ways and Matt Laurer is not interesting at all. The men in suits (as another writer put it) and Matt need to look in the mirror to see why the ratings are the way they are...

Ann Curry was one of the only reasons why I watched the Today Show. Now I watch channel 7 or channel 2. I don't care to watch channel 4 any longer.

I only tuned in just to see Ann! The new people are ok but just ok. They look like bobsie twins, can't tell them apart! Lol!
On the other hand Matt is so totally throwing Ann under the bus as Al would say! He has now and will always be in it for himself! I don't like him and I will start watching Good Morning America again!!!! Goodbye Today Show!!!

I totally agree with the other comments posted here...the Today Show has made some terrible mistakes...Ann Curry was one of my favorite voices to hear in the morning! Big mistake! Big big...

Ann Curry was a breath of fresh air for your show. i can't believe you let her go.

Mistake. Matt - arrogant. Al - Arrogant. I came to the show several times and Ann is the only one who genuinely talks with folks - gives them her sincere time. This comes through on screen also. Matt and Al - blow hards. Too big for their britches. I am switching networks. Shame shame shame on you.

All I can say is another case of arrogant and stupid "suits" in the front office!

I loved Ann and will miss her. Matt has gotten too big for his britches. Here I come Robin and George. Forget NBC!
