Kyle Williams Takes Blame for San Francisco Defeat, Faces Death Threats

by at .

The 49ers fell to the Giants yesterday in the NFC Championship Game and - like Billy Cundiff on the Ravens - most of the blame lies at the feet of one player: Kyle Williams, who turned the ball over TWICE on punt returns, including one fumble that led to an easy New York field goal in overtime.

I know that people hate hearing theres always next year, but come on this is the play-offs, they should have talk to williams about the first one, and explain to him how important this game is.COME ON MAN, this is going to be a boring super bowl this year, don't really care about who wins or loses.I think alot of us here in san fran will watch it but wont be the same with out are beloved 49ers in it. So come on theres always next year, man i hate hearing that shit.

I take my football seriously, but can't imagine threatening anyones life. You halfway wonder if someone paid him off like the Ravens kicker.

We spent more time watching punters grab their own bums in the SF~NY game than watching any other plays. If the kicker had made the kick and went into OT for the Ravens, it might still have gone to the patriots. I was hoping the Ravens would win. My Giants are going. All four teams fought the good fight until the bitter end. But I have already seen the Patriots and Giants in the SB. I was hoping for a new show. I did bet on the Patriots before the game, but was rooting for the Ravens to tie. I only ever bet one perfectly sharpened pencil. I have a lot of pencils owed to me. For the Super Bowl, I am betting a pencil and a pink eraser.
