Omg...I saw a comment on this video saying he was leaving! I didn't know! I am a HUGE fan. :.(

I am not really much on Twitter following, but I enjoyed David Archuleta on AI and have been following him ever since. I may be completely wrong, but I truly think this is one of the most sincere and decent human beings you could hope to have for your children to look up to. As a 34 year old mom, he honestly gives me assurance that there are good people in the world today. God bless you David. I will miss your voice but have so much respect for someone willing to put aside this Hollywood lifestyle and acknowledge that there are greater things to be done. And no, I am not a Mormon, but I wish this young man all the luck and happiness in the world!

This is the worst decision he will ever make in his career. Two years away from music biz and he will be almost forgotten and will never regain a foothold..and he doesn't have much now. He has really bad management....REALLY bad.

David's a one of a kind...singer & person. A uniquely talented artist, and an even more real human being...which makes him a bigger "star" in fans' eyes than all the others in the business put together.
Best wishes to him as he pursues these next two years...we'll miss that Voice in a big way, but fans will be waiting to hear him sing again, if that is what he chooses.
Haunting video and song.

Happy Birthday, David. I will miss you and I know you have to follow your heart. Good for you....

Oh, David, Wait, wait, wait, don't go......... He's not even gone and I can't wait for him to get back

Wait was is my favorite song of the Asia releases. The angst and cry in his voice is like none other. The blacks and the whites, the mystical feeling of it all is mesmerizing. Now I have a visual of his expressions to go with the song and I can't get enough that. David is maturing into a very handsome expressive young man. As for the meaning of the video it seems to me that it's left open for us to interpret. Very different of anything he's done to date and the artistry is beautiful.

I love and respect David Archuleta, he seems so real, unlike MANY people in this business.
