The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show did not lack for star power Tuesday night, on the catwalk or off. Among the big name acts to perform: Kanye West.
West gave a short, sweet tribute to his late mom before performing “Stronger” and later on teamed with Jay-Z to perform their song ”N!ggas in Paris.”
“In 2007 I was supposed to perform this song on this show, and I lost my superhero. Now she is my super angel,” said Kanye of the late Donda West.
The Victoria’s Secret angels proceeded to walk the runway as West performed. Symbolism, people. Deep stuff. Then he and Jay rocked the house.
