Anne Hathaway as Catwoman: First Look!

First, we got a look at Tom Hardy as Bane.

Now, Warner Bros. has released the first photo of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman, as she takes to the streets in a fun ride:

The iconic character was introduced by Julie Newmar in the 1966 Batman TV series. Since then, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer and Halle Berry have all donned the slick, leather black outfit of Catwoman.

While Hathaway won't reveal anything about her version - "I signed a blood oath," she said upon accepting the role - at least we now have an idea of what she'll look like. Thoughts?

The Dark Knight Rises comes out on July 20, 2012.

    HELLO!! ?? anyone remember Michelle Pfiefer(misspelled? ) anyway... that's the only catwoman for the job... and the best one too but not for the color of her skin either.. and might I add That the very original catwoman was white but only for a few episodes and then it was passed to Ertha Kitt..who was black. . Where is Michelle? ? Bring her back!!!

    @Pete Pete shut the fuck up. You cannot compare Heath Ledger to Anne Hathaway. Ledger had a history that he could perform the role. Hathaway is like a 70 yo trapped in a 20yo's body. She is a really conservative, 'upper class lady' type with a slight posh English accent, who will make a horrible seductive Catwoman. The current movie she is in, is her role. ie the shitty chick flick naiive Princess Diaries, not fucking Batman.

    Halle made it look sexy yes, but, if you look at the cat women from the sixtees and seventies they did not have try that hard to be sexy, they were somewhat out of my time, but they were knockouts. I like Ann she will be surprising us, she has what it takes.
