Glenn Beck Leaves Fox News, Takes "Movement" to Your Heart/Wallet

Glenn Beck signed off from Fox News last night in a more Glenn Beckian way.

The controversial host, who went off on New Yorkers earlier this week and premiered on the network the day prior to Barack Obama's inauguration, addressed the reasons for his departure.

Bad ratings? No. A feud with Fox News chief Roger Ailes? Please.

"This show has become a movement," he told viewers. "It's not a TV show and that's why it does not belong on television anymore. It belongs in your heart. It belongs in your neighborhood."

Ah, okay. That explains it.

Beck is off to GBTV to star online in a daily, two-hour program. You'll need to pay to listen to his words of wisdom on a series that launches in September.

To his critics, Beck said: "You will pray for the time when I was only on the air for one hour a day."

    I see the usual name calling & bashing of Beck. Funny though, those who complain about what he says never show us any examples of where he lied or misrepresented the facts. I suppose that would be because Beck quotes people like Van Jones, has exposed many of Captain Zero's czars using their own words & exposes many in the 0 administration who have violent anti-American pasts, shows real connections to Spooky Dude Soros to Media Matters, The Tides Foundation & so on, shows videos of people he talks about using their own words, reads from their own books & literature... Beck has a very good accuracy rate for his predictions, like the spreading of Islamic caliphate, sharia, the ME catching fire after Egypt, that this jive has hit the EU & is coming to the US... People are so afraid that what Beck says may be true that they make up accusations, often I think, to bolster & excuse the denial they seek refuge in. Pity all you Homer Simpson useful idiots I do.     Um, I talk with God too. It's called PRAYING. Also, I wish everyone would stop repeating the lie that he was making Fox lose money because of low ratings and advertisers pulling out. In the cable news show viewer ratings, Beck was almost always in the top 5 with an average of about 2 million viewers. He was beating every show on CNN & MSNBC.

    @ Hilton Hater, it costs less than I make in an hour. Also if you ever watched the show he has never said he communicates with God. Quit lying I would say harher words if it did not go agaist my beliefs. God Loves Everyone!
