Green Lantern Shines at the Box Office

Green Lantern was trashed by movie critics around the country. It also featured Blake Lively with her clothes on for a change.

Despite these two drawbacks, the superhero film was number-one at the box office, beating out a pair of sequels, Jim Carrey's latest big screen effort and J.J. Abrams' alien adventure.
