Consider yourself on notice, Facebook: Google is coming for you.
The search engine giant has announced plans for its own social network, title "Google+ project." Sum it up for us, please, Google's Vice President of Product Management, Bradley Horowitz:
"In real life, we have walls and windows and I can speak to you knowing who's in the room, but in the online world, you get to a ‘Share' box and you share with the whole world."
Okay, that didn't make the concept much clearer."Google+ project" will reportedly feature social circles that permit users to "selectively share with specific groups within their personal network, rather than sharing with all their social connections at once."
The social network, which does not have a release date, will also include the ability to video chat in groups; display interests; share content easily; and pretty much do anything you could ever want to online.
This is Google, after all.
