George Clooney and Elisabetta Canalis: Behind the Break-Up
Since his divorce in 1987, no woman has been able to hold George Clooney down. So it should come as no surprise that he and Elisabetta Canalis ended their relationship this week.
But a friend of the actor says the split was due to more than mere commitment fears: the model was making the actor crazy!
"She drove him nuts," the source tells Us Weekly, adding there was "non-stop bickering over little things" and Clooney was "creating distance" for months.
However, another insider reveals to E! News that the break-up was based on no other reason that Clooney being Clooney. The guy enjoys his single life!
"He's been trying to figure out how to get out of this for a while," said this friend. "And let's face it, this always happens... Right before Como! Like clockwork."
The acquaintance is referring to the actor's Lake Como estate in Italy, where he likes to party all summer with friends. And it's true: Clooney and Sarah Larsen split around this same time in 2008.
So the gorgeous star is back on the market, ladies, but be warned: "He will never marry again," said this pal. "Ever."

Hate to say it, but he'll suddenly want to settle down when he has a heart attack. It won't because he wants to commit to a loving a relationship, it will be because he wants a nurse.
