James Durbin Responds to Adam Lambert Criticism
by Hilton Hater at .Early in his American Idol run, James Durbin resented comparisons to Adam Lambert.
Now, the just-ousted finalist resents comments recently made by the former runner-up. In an interview with month with The Hollywood Reporter, Lambert said of Durbin:
"I think he's got talent and passion 100 percent, but I feel like he's trying way too hard. Also, his niche is so limited with the metal... I didn’t feel like I was seeing an original artist. And I'm not saying he doesn't have that in him, but it hasn’t been showing."
In response, Durbin said to MTV: "I was nothing more than nice to that guy and, you know, he decided to take it to a different level. So, whatever."

I don't think Adam has more "old" fans than young ones. I just know one thing, he makes me want to be alot younger. Guess you could call him my "fantasy boy toy". I grew up listening to the Beatles (one my favorites and still are)the Stones, Zeppelin, Joplin and so on and so on. No performaner has grabbed my attention like Adam Lambert has since those days. I still listen to my classic rock by the way. I may very well be one of his "older" (notice I didn't say old) fans but he had me the first time I saw him on Idol and still has me. He has nowhere to go but UP!
adam spoke his mind thats all, so why go out and hate on him so much. Plus have you heard his music.... its all about love. The world would be a better place with less hate and more love. Adam is not only a rocker, he is versatile and sings other types of music too and i dont see a difference in the fact that he is gay. SO? he is being himself and speaks his mind freely, he is not tied down by what others say and think about him so just give up... any other glambert would agree with me
Adam is the best! Hands down!

Adam is trying too hard to be someone he's not. James on the other hand, is trying to make his dream come true by being who he is.
