Double Elimination: Who Did American Idol Send Home?

The run of both these finalists came to an end last night, as American Idol viewers voted out a pair of contestants following the surprising save of Casey Abrams a week ago. There was no such shock this time around.
Joined in the bottom three by Paul McDonald, both Naima and Thia struggled to find their groove on season 10. The former may have been too eclectic for viewers, while the latter has a beautiful voice, but didn't do a lot to stand out.
Among other results show highlights:
- Jamie Foxx and will.i.am performed.
- Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery sang a duet of "I Told You So."
- Haley Reinhart, Pia Toscano and Thia worked together on Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream."
- McDonald, Casey Abrams, Stefano Langone and James Durbin formed a quartet for "Band on the Run."

America is obviously not qualified to sit in judgement on true talent. Pia is the best and purest singer on the show and she was voted off by America. America should have a vote weighted at one quarter of the total vote and the rest should be left to the judges. Why have professional in the field who are judges if they can't really judge. Letting Pia go was a terrible and unforgiven mistake!
AMERICAN IDOL IS A SET UP..... THEY SET THESE YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO BE CRITITICED BY OTHER YOUNGSTERS. THEY KNOW THE VOTERS ARE PRIMARILY YOUNG WHITE GIRLS, who got nothing more to do than sit on the cell phone gossipin and cause they are white they will always vote for a blonde barbie or a underdog homely white girl like kelly clarkson, fantasia made it only cause the other contender couldnt beat her period.... i think the voting system for these shows is bogus and need to be changed.......there is no way pia should have been booted I ALWAYS CHOOSE THE WINNER BEFORE THE END AND PIA WAS MY CHOICE AND A LOT OF MATURE PEOPLE JUST GETTIN HOME FROM WORK FEEDING KIDS GETTING THE HOUSE IN CHECK, GOT A LOT OF STUFF TO DO...AND DIDNT VOTE...FOR THIS BRILLIANT VOICE YET...NOW COMPLAIN THAT SHE WAS BOOTED......AMERICA YOU HAVE TO VOTE@@
The highlight of the season was the Scotty and Lauren duet. Wow I was moved to tears. It was like better than Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn! I loved them.
how many damn idols they gone have?!
For me, all of them are great singers but d best for me is scooty, james, stefano and casey. But we will just wait d results every week who will be out and who will win d next american idol. Good luck all of them and God bless.
