Oprah Winfrey Introduces Viewers to Half-Sister

So said Oprah Winfrey to kick off the latest edition of her talk show, which was taped this morning in Chicago. The episode had been hyped for days by Oprah, who teased viewers by saying she'd reveal a family secret that shook her to the core.
That secret? A half-sister named Patricia who was given by for adoption by Oprah's mother in 1963. In the following clips, Winfrey tells her audience about Patricia and then sits down with her relative, about whom Oprah says:
"What is so extraordinary is they have known this secret since 2007... She never once thought to go to the press. She never once thought to sell this story."

From a young age I rmeember scrubbing my knees trying to get the marks off because I thought they were dirty. Little did I know real people don't look like that

And if shes known since 2007 then why hasent she already announced this "great" finding? Im sorry but o ur a trip." Oprah's not stupid. Thorough DNA testing was done, and her mother admitted the child didn't die but was given up for adoption. If blood (DNA testing) doesn't convince you, I wonder what will.
Blessed they found each other, but what can they think of a mother that lied so thoroughly, she kept them separated from family for decades?
oprah; i am so happy for you that you have a new cycle to your life that gives you a sibling to love , care for if she has kids it makes you an aunt also how nice. my older kids found they had two sis ters unknown to them as their father had left them as babies and they got to know these girls and like them,the anger is passed and they now have four sisters all three are half butone is a sister also left as a baby. she really missed her dad.her only sister was too young to relate to then but they are closer now there are eight of mine and two of his. they had a dad now deceased but he wasnt that one he cared less for them and their care just his life his loss
Leave it to Oprah, what a promoter. Her new TV station needs publicity, and she knows how to get it. Who gives a ....but many fall for her trap. Lets talk about what's important, like the economy, unemploymentm crime, etc...
