Through the use of poems, Tammy Lynn Michaels has spent the last few weeks going off on Melissa Etheridge. She claims the singer left her and the couple's children in poverty, scarcely able to afford food on a daily basis.
Asked if this allegation was true, Etheridge simply tells the latest issue of Us Weekly: "No, it's not."
Could she elaborate?
"A woman is always entitled to speak her mind, and that's the way she speaks her mind," the artist said of her ex's strange blog posts. "It's always one person's perspective, and one person's perspective through hurt and fear, and anger. You're going to get a pretty dark picture. We're working things out, how about that?"That's fine by us, Melissa. It's really none of our business.
But are you dating anyone new? Have you moved on?
"Suffice it to say, I am a very happy woman. Yes."
