Parents of Miley Cyrus File for Divorce
After 17 years of marriage, the parents of Miley Cyrus are getting a divorce.
Father Billy Ray is listed as the plaintiff in papers filed yesterday in Tennessee's Williamson Country Chancery Court. He cites "irreconcilable differences" as the basis for the split.
"As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," the couple said in a joint statement "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."
Billy Ray and Tish have three children together - Miley, 17, Braison, 16, and Noah, 10 - while the former also adopted Trace and Brandi, the latter's kids from a previous relationship.
Miley is close to both her parents. Tish works as her manager, while Billy Ray has been known to come to his daughter's defense in the face of criticism, even once saying the world is counting on her. We wish this family the best.

OMG!!! this is terrible news :( im soo sorry MILEY dont ever think that is your fault because your parents goin through the divorce. things happen for reason and sometimes we cant find the answer right now. remember that LIFE is not perfect and i wish we can control how we live but we cant. most important dont forget who you are and dont gave up your POPULARITY, SINGER, ACTRESS...and remember that your fans always cheering for you!!

i met her once too. She was exactly the opposite of what i had heard. People tell me she is the next britney spears but when you actually meet her, you see how WRONG they are. She was so incredibly nice and she seemed so happy. :) I love miley. Even when she was half out of breth from singing and running around on stage she still found a way to make everyone laugh. She was joking around and laughing with every one and she talked to her fans like she had known them forever. She's just so amazing.

miley has already been through SO much in her life. This is really hitting her hard and I don't care what anyone says miley is beautiful, smart, and an AMAZING singer. Haters need to just make like bees and buzz off bcuz miley doesn't deserve anything ppl are saying. I met her once backstage and she seemed really nice. She was talking to everyone like they were her friends and I don't think I saw her stop smiling even once. She's really going through a lot right now. SO ALL YOU HATERS GET A LIFE.

this family needs to be alaone at the moment. Let them work things out My thoughts is Miley is on the way of being another spears already look into her phots that she has done and look at how she is dressing now.

really hope she does fine!! now hannah montana is ending and all her haterz are getting more and more. her album isnt selling well and she isnt at her peak like she used to be...shes really having a hard time and she and liam just got back. really hope she can get back on and ROCK the world once more!!! FTW MILEY!!!
