Dr. Frank Ryan, Plastic Surgeon to the Stars, Dies

by at . Comments

Dr. Frank Ryan, a prominent Beverly Hills plastic surgeon to the stars, has been killed in a car crash after his Jeep veered off the Pacific Coast Highway yesterday.

The doctor was just 50.

His car landed on rocks and lifeguards initially tried to help Ryan, to no avail. He was trapped in the vehicle and had major, ultimately catastrophic head injuries.

Minutes before, Ryan Tweeted: "After 25 years of driving by I finally hiked to the top of the giant sand dune on the pch west of Malibu. Much harder than it looks! Whew!" His last Tweet: "Border collie jill surveying the view from atop the sand dune."

Heidi and Frank

Dr. Frank Ryan was widely criticized for the surgery he did on The Hills star Heidi Montag, who famously underwent 10 procedures in a single day earlier this year.

"He was the most amazing person I have ever known. He was an angel and changed my life and the lives of everyone he met," Montag Tweeted after his passing.

"He was the most brilliant talented surgeon who will ever exist. My prayers go out to his mother, family, friends, and anyone ever blessed enough to meet him."

His bodies of work will be remembered throughout Hollywood.

Among Ryan's patients in addition to Heidi Montag, whose work has been greatly scrutinized this year: Gene Simmons, Shauna Sand, Vince Neil & Adrianne Curry.

Rest in peace.

she looks like a scared cat in this picture!

Why the mean and nasty comments? How sad that people have to write such hateful things. I don't get it? I didn't know Frank, but I did know hs work and that he gave his time and talents to so many children and people who needed his help. Anyone that dies too soon is a lost for all of us...My prayers go out for this family and friends. And please don't let a few morans upset you anymore than you are already with your deep lost. Their just sad humane beings that don't know better...

How sad for his family and friends. Accidents like this leaves so many unanswered questions behind. "why" ! A very talented doctor, a really nice guy....gone way to soon..
It's so sad for everyone who cared abouthim and for all thoses that will never have the chance to know him...
My prayers go out to all his family and friends. And to "jill". She'll never understand what happened to her dad. For her to see her "dad" so hurt and not be able to help him will leave her scared for life. Dogs have a real sense of knowing what's going on and only want to help their masters..and if thy can't they do feel sadness ... I hope she is with someone who loved and cared for Frank as she recovers.
Gods Speed Frank

Jann, you are welcome. I personally wish all websites would drop their comments sections. When something bad happens all the vermin come crawling out from under their rocks to post negative & mean comments. I didn't know him but I knew what he did. Just ignore these morons, I guess they have pretty pathetic lives to talk like this about people they don't even know.

Thank you Derrick for being a human being with a heart. Most of you morons that are posting mean, nasty comments have no idea what kind of a person Frank was or how big that mans heart was. He did more for the human race(and I am not speaking about plastic surgery) in one year than most of you have ever done in your entire lives! HE MADE A DIFFERENCE.....EVERY DAY!!!! Whether it was in the life of hundreds of children , a gang member or his own family. He was an artist in his work, he was a loving son, nephew and cousin. Our family has suffered too many losses already and reading some of the brain dead comments being posted is just another nail in his coffin.

Kate you are a heartless bitch. Nothing better to do but come on here and rag on a Doctor who donated most of his free time to helping children with deformities? Karma is a bitch and so are you.
