“Oh my gosh, I can’t even count how many times I’ve gotten on a plane for love. It’s not unusual in this business; my lifestyle demands it. I’m always traveling for [whispers] … c*ck. You’ve got to go where it is.” – Cameron Diaz

Her personality might rub some people the wrong way, but to us, Cameron Diaz seems like the coolest chick ever – and not just because she’s all about long-distance booty calls, cave girl sex, smoking weed and not caring what you think.

The star of Knight and Day and The Green Hornet is refreshingly candid and forthright, and clearly lives every day to the fullest. Her attitude is so contagious, merely reading the excerpts below should put you in a good mood …

On Knight and Day co-star Tom Cruise: “Tom is super. He’s an exciting, special person. He’s passionate about making movies and passionate about his family. Those are the two most important things in his life, and he lives that.”

Permanently effervescent actress Cameron Diaz has only high praise for Tom Cruise … and Seth Rogen … and Snoop Dogg … and Justin Timberlake … and

On whether or not she’s seen Green Hornet co-star Seth Rogen high: “I might have seen Seth high but didn’t completely know it.  I went to a party one night where I think there was some stoneage. People were definitely pretty baked.”

On high school classmate Snoop Dogg: “Snoop was a year older than me. He stood out. He was tall and skinny and wore ponytails. I probably bought weed from him.”

On rumors that she’s dating Alex Rodriguez: “No, no, no. I’ve been in relationships since I was 16. The past three years I’ve made a conscious decision not to be in a relationship for as long as I want. I want to have a relationship with myself.”

On working with her ex, Justin Timberlake: “We’re adults. Of course we could work together. It’s been three years since we broke up. It’s done. We’re friends; he’s really talented and funny, and we’re good at being funny together. He’s so hilarious.”

On others’ opinions of her films and her work: “Whether other people consider my accomplishments to be successful or not doesn’t matter to me. I don’t give a f*ck what other people think. I have my own standards I live by.”

On her booty: “My booty is on hiatus from film but not from everyday life, where it doesn’t stop moving. It’s in constant sway and has a mind of its own. On camera, though, there hasn’t been an opportunity for it to assert itself lately.”

On men who try to pick her up: “I never shut down any man unless he’s a total douchebag. It takes a lot for a guy to ask out a girl like me – not because I think I’m super special or anything. It’s just that I think men are intimidated.”

On primal instincts: “I’m primal on an animalistic level, kind of like, ‘Bonk me over the head, throw me over your shoulder.  You man, me woman.’ Not everybody has the right kind of primal thing for me … I love the physical contact.”

On sexuality and love: “Sexuality and love can be different things. I can be attracted to a woman sexually, but it doesn’t mean I want to be in love with a woman. If I’m going to be with a woman sexually, it doesn’t mean I’m a lesbian..”

On rumors that Anna Faris was mocking her in Lost in Translation: “She’s lovely, talented, funny, and I love watching her. I have no ill feelings toward her whatsoever. You can’t hurt my feelings. I’m the first to make fun of myself.”

On celebrity gossip: “If I spent time reading what people make up, I would be taking away from how I live my life, which is better than anyone could imagine.”

On her life: “I have an extraordinary life, for which I am so grateful. If you’re grateful for what you have, you’re in need of nothing else. I can’t imagine how my life could get better, but I’m sure it can. It will – because it always does.”
