Brooke Mueller: Alive, Well, On the Red Carpet

While Charlie Sheen prepares for jail, his wife is stepping back into the spotlight.

Brooke Mueller walked the red carpet last night at the ninth annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. It was her first public appearance since Sheen allegedly held a knife to her throat on Christmas Day a few months ago.

The reason for her outing this weekend?

“My best friend Rebecca Gayheart and I have been a part of this charity for several years and it’s a great cause," she said.

Mueller added that her twin sons are doing "great" and that she has no summer plans.

Except to hopefully do everything she can to get away from Sheen. That guy is nuts!
