by at . Comments

It's a great day to be Taylor Swift or Carrie Underwood.

Then again, when is this ever not the case?

Along with Jason Aldean and Lady Antebellum, these two beauties lead the way with three CMT Music Awards nominations.

That ceremony, which is the only fan-voted awards show in all of country music, will air on June 9. It will be hosted by Kid Rock. No, really. Kid Rock.

You are right mary, it's not like there are more country awards than pop awards. Plus at the last ACMs the stars looked awesome. So much classier than a lot of the pop stars dress.

@randyjacksonsbutt, haha.. nice, but no.. ACMs (in April) is the Academy of Country Music awards. In November, there's another called Country Music Association awards (CMAs). This is the CMT, Country Music Television awards. It's all like the Grammys, AMAs, and VMAs of the pop world..

Didn't they just have a country music awards? Do they hand out the redneck awards on a weekly basis or something?
