Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar Welcome Baby #19!
by Free Britney at .Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of TLC's now-inaccurately-named 18 Kids and Counting, gave birth to baby #19 last night after being rushed to the emergency room.
A rep from TLC confirmed today that "Michelle Duggar, who has been in the hospital recovering from a gallstone, was taken to the OR for an emergency c-section."
No. 19 wasn't due until Spring, but at 6:27 p.m. yesterday, Michelle and Jim Bob welcomed new daughter Josie Brooklyn ... who weighed in at just 1 lb., 6 oz.
Not only is Josie the youngest of the Arkansas family's children, but she's officially younger than her own niece, Mackynzie, the first Grandduggar born in October!
MAKE THAT 19: The Duggar family just got bigger!
Sources say Michelle is resting comfortably and that the baby is "stable" in the neonatal intensive care unit at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
"The most important thing is for Mom and baby Josie to rest," TLC's rep said. "The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery."
Congratulations to the new parents and Josie's 18 siblings! Here's wishing Michelle and Josie a full, speedy recovery after a joyous but traumatic experience.

Who are we to judge their beliefs and ways of life? It's not like the family's poor and homeless. Jim Bob and Michelle have proven they can support a big family financially and emotionally. So they have some help from the older kids, so?! I'm 15, and have 6 siblings (2 older and 4 younger) and us older kids help out w/ the younger ones. It teaches us responsibility and prepares us for our kids one day. This family is awesome and everyone who sits and bashes them repeatedly and says they're horrible people--get a freakin' life! That's all I gotta say on the matter. Oh, and best of wishes to the Duggars!
They are not doing it with all of their own money, they are on a reality show that pays them big time for being on that show same as Gosselin. It's called pimpin your children, dress it in church clothes all you wnat to,it's still the same.I have more respect for the Octo-Mom's honesty instead of the bull"we are self sufficient crap",while they pick up their paycheck. She needs to stop looking and acting like a stepford wife,it aging her very rapidly. For all the same people on here talking about "how wonderful parents" the are,you don't know what they really are when the cameras are turned off,you already see how much actual parenting is done.Stop this madness.
I'm curious as to how many of those that posted pay support for any of those kids. As long as they are able to care for them physically, emotionally, and financially it's their business how many they have.As far as the older ones helping with the younger ones where is the crime in that? Nothing wrog with teaching responsibility.Maybe having to help with the younger ones will make them think twice about having a baby of their own at young ages.Teen pregnancy is a big problem but maybe having to take care of a baby is a good lesson. There are some women who enjoy and feel better while being pregnant. That could be the case here.Until this family asks for help supporting their family peoople should just keep their bitchesto themselves.
Actually, if Michelle would breastfeed her babies for a year, which was very common in days before birth control, she would likely not get pg so soon since nursing reduces ovulation. (God designed it this way for a reason!) However, she seems not to be nursing for that long, and thus her children are sometimes quite close together. She is using the modern invention of formula, but not the modern invention of birth control so the spacing of her kids (IMHO) is a bit out of balance. If she would breastfeed for a year, her kids would be about 1 3/4 to 2 years apart. In some cases mothers would nurse their child to age 2 before BControl, and their kids would then be about 2.5 - 2.75 years apart. They can have as many kids as they want/can afford, but I do think God designed mothers to nurse longer so they wouldn't be having kids quite so close together. Just MHO.
These people are GREAT PARENTS BUT THEY ARE COMPLETELY CRAZY IS 19 ENOUGH OR NOT
