In an update to the story of a man so immature and self-centered he makes his five-year old kids look like adults, TLC has suspended shooting on Kate Plus 8.
The network has been forced to do so by Jon Gosselin, who had no problem exploiting his children and introducing them to young new play thing Hailey Glassman... as long as he received a paycheck in return.
But now that he's been let go from the series that made him famous, Gosselin has sent a letter threatening legal action if cameramen step foot on his property.
His pathetic wish has been granted, but at least the network got in a few shots at the overweight numbskull in the process. It released the following statement:
We are aware of Jon Gosselin's recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic.
Despite Jon Gosselin's repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions, he remains under an exclusive contract with TLC. Direct filming of the children has been currently suspended, pending further conversations between both parents.
Translation: if you see Jon Gosselin on the street, throw mud at him. This guy sucks.

I've never seen such a bigger tool than Jon. First, he actively defends that the kids don't mind the cameras. Then he's out partying and spending the college fund. Then he gets kicked off the show, and the show is renamed. He's already said he despises Kate. This is the perfect way to get his pay off on the show, restrict any income to Kate, and in the end the kids won't have an income. How does a single mom pay for 8 mouths to feed plus herself, with an x husband who doesn't work, spends all his money on a fancy NY apt. and his women. If you looked up douche bag in the dictionary, it would have his photo. Kate, take the kids, run and hide.

This Geek should be strung up by the scrotum. What a total self absorbed, pompous ass this man is. Now see why I say Kate and the kids would be better off without him in their lives? He is the most immature, hypocritical, lying douche bag out there. I say TLC should sue him and get rid of him totally. He only wants more money, doesn't he think people can figure this out for themselves. How else can he support this new life style, a Manhattan condo, cars for girl friends, trips to Vegas to pick up more bikini clad young girls, the Hamptons, the South of France. That is a pretty expensive style of living. He can't make that without his kids. The guy is is a total fat loser. Get a life jon.

What a flipping douchebag. Ok, he had the sympathy of the world to start with b/c Kate seems like an overbearing wench. But now, he goes on the talk show circuit, dates a different woman publicly every week, and is living like he's in high school again. When he saw his 15 minutes coming to an end, he's ready to reconcile and is concerned about the welfare of his "family"? Please! He's all over the world traveling and partying and now he is putting the breaks on his divorce from the woman he is sick of, and he's wants the show to stop? Way to help your kids out! Eight kids that you have to look after, raise, send to college, etc. and this is your only means of income. The absolute worse thing that could happen to these children and his dumbass is for TLC to say, "OK, we're done". Hey, without money, nobody is showing up at your house to build "magic playhouses". If I was Kate, Hell would freeze solid now before I would take him back. I just hope it works out for the children, that is what is important and that is what Jon needs to think about. He didn't seem too worried about them being on camera when he was out banging different women and he was sure he was still getting paid. Glad to see he has reconsidered and wants to reconcile.....very responsible.

Dare I say it, Jon will have to get a real job, & pay real child support, & provide real insurance for his kids. Sorry to say that while he is doing what he is suppose to as a dad, he will no longer be able to be a manwhore in Vegas, get all the free Ed Hardy t-shirts, & live off his kids back. Jon Gosselin is a freakin loser. Ever since first watching the show, I've always disliked him. He is one of the biggest douche bags and most material people i've ever heard of. I've always thought Kate was a better parent, and I will always stick up for her decisions. She works alot, but she does it for her kids. She doesn't do it for the money or fame like jon does. C'mon for real, why does a father of 8 kids need a freain Nissan 350Z Nismo edition. Grow up you pathetic idiot. your a terrible father, and I dont' believe you should have custody of your children. They're better off with Kate who is an awesome mom!

Everyone commented how horrible Kate was to Jon during scenes we all witnessed. Maybe now we all know why she was like that. She HAD TO BE!!! He has no sense of how to parent, no organization, a level of immaturity that makes my 10 year old look like an adult and just thought it was easy to just sit back and let things happen. Thank God she took charge of all NINE of her kids!!!
