Randy Quaid Mug Shot, Note of Innocence Released

As celebrity mug shots go, these are pretty good.

Randy and Evi Quaid, who were arrested for burglary yesterday afternoon after a warrant was issued for their arrest, were booked in Marfa, Texas.

The Quaids are accused of premeditatively stiffing a bed and breakfast in California, staying there and racking up an enormous bill before splitting.

Randy and Evi Quaid are an interesting pair of fugitives.

Pretty funny. But the even funnier thing is that the incarcerated couple asked the Presidio County Sheriff to send two items to celebrity gossip site TMZ:

1. A tongue-in-cheek, hand-written statement which says "this is all for PR" and that "I promise the state of California, Texas does not bother people over hamburgers ordered by room service, supposedly burglarized."
2. A copy of a cashier's check from the Quaids to the San Ysidro Ranch - the place where they allegedly skipped out on the bill - for $5,546.96.
